    Default rear suspension civic 99 HELP NEEDED PLZ!!

    assalam-o-alaikom

    i want to know how many bosch pairs r there in civic 99's rear suspension n how much they'd cost, if i go to change themm...

    actually my car is 31k driven, mostly standing in the porch.... so from some time whenever car passes from any ditch sort of thing, CHOO CHOO sort of noise comes from rear... i've checked boot lid, spare tire, rear seat everything is fixed so only thing left is rear suspension coz the rubbers of the bosches may have finished their life span...shocks r like new... so no problem with the shocks or springs.. this is wat i think....

    wat do u ppl suggest??
    n plz does anyone know the price n number of original honda bosches of rear...

    it may happen that due to dryness this sound comes... anyhow, planning to take the car to honda drive-in....

    You are most likely using over sized tires/rims.. Go back to the tires and rims recoomended by the manufacture as they have cause premature wear and tear on your car;s chassis

    hi bro, if ur car is having cng the pl check the legs of rear boot where these are toching with cylinder while passing thru the ditches,in that case just put rubber coating on the legs and the abnormal noise will go away.

    wat i think is, either the car has become dry coz most of the time standing in the porch or the rubber bosches have completed their life

    complete bush set for these cars is approx 1000rs, but before you change them i'd suggest you have a mechanic check 2 things on your car;

    1. the bolts of the rear shocks (might be loose)
    2. rear bumper mounts (the outer mounts wear out and can cause a squeaking noise).

    the rear bumper mounts which need to be checked are located on the edge of the rear fenders (x2), inside the lip of the trunk (x4-5) and under the car (x2)
