Thailand has already had the 05 Civic with the 2.0 iVTEC engine. So there's nothing impossible about it really. From one of my sources at Honda, a 2.0 iVTEC is coming to Pakistan as well.

I highly doubt it..2.0L Civic in Pakistan is heavy! 1.8 tops!

    Yeah yeah!
They were initially planning the F20C but had problems stuffing it in the bay in an EAST WEST CONFIGURATION~ Dont worry, they promised they'd still give us the Type-R tranny, his of course is courtesy, of a highly unreliable source at Honda who shall be promptly confronted when the vehicle is launched!

2.0 for Pakistan is very likely, namely because they're competing with Altis. They want to show they can run two steps ahead. The standard VTi should be 1.8.

Guys, the 2.0L VTEC engine came standard in the Thai version Civic in 2004, if we didnt get it then, I'm sure we won't get it now. 1.6 to a 2.0L is a big jump, most probably its going to be the 1.8L i-VTEC! Not a fan of the Civic, so I'm least bothered. Open to opinions nontheless!

    guys!!!

2006 civic has been launched only with a 1.8 i-VTEC engine. even in US and Japan. as for Thailand, it always had the 2.0L VTEC version. so i dont think we will get 2.0L for 2006. most probably a 1.8L. i wonder when will it be launched though?
