Default Honda Civic Rim + Tyre Purchase from Abroad

Hi All, Can you please tell me the exact size of wheel that can fit on for Honda Civic EXI Prosmatic 2006 (2005) model.

Im Planning to buy a set from UK with low profile tyres but the problem is here civic is different from the one we use in Pakistan. The dealer asked me exact wheel size otherwise it might not fit. Im not sure, but can you tell me if anyone of you know.

Also iv'e seen many in 16x7 & 17x7 dimension which looks amazing. I know what this 16" or 17" means but what about this 7.

If i buy these will these fit with current exi 2005/06 model that we have in Pakistan or not?
If someone has civic booklet, can you please tell me the exact mentioning of size there.

    Thanks,

the main thing is the bolt pattern and in old shape civic and corolla's its the same and its 4x100

rest about the rim size its up to you weather you buy 14 15 16 17 18 and about rim width i think it should not be more then 8.5

Thankyou, offcourse bolt pattern is the same 4x100
So it means i should not worry about other dimensions. Are there anyother things that one should look before buying the tire+rims.

    tire profile also does matter.
if you sue too much bigger tires then you may get speedometer error.
put stock size of the exi's tires in that and the tire size you want to sue in this link it will tell you about speedo meter difference.

i guess this will solve all the quires
    dont hesitate to ask question

Hi, well although the selection iv'e finalized makes it about 5% deviating then the normal rating, but they look reall cool.

The wheel is 17x7J size 5zigen (Pro Racing), Ultra Light Weight (as they claim it)

While These are the tires 205/40/R17 Ultra Low Profile Pirelli Tires:

Or Goodyear Excellence in the same specs, both are essentially in the same price:
    http://eu.goodyear.com/uk_en/tires/r...ence/index.jsp

However only thing that hurts is the shipment charges.
I just confirmed, apart from $800 FedX charges, you have to pay arrival charges in Pakistan (around 10,000 PKR) + 35% Custom on Wheels & 25% custom on Tires price.

This is too damn high, i was not expecting it to be this much. However im gonna finalize in the next week or so....

But thanks for your suggestions, they really helped me a lot.

yes you are right, but iv'e got the 4 bolt patten wheel.
Also, 205/40/17 is the lowest i could find in quality brands, and even here no body recommends to go shorter than that unless you opt for 18" or higer rims.

@Adnan, thanks man; infact your suggestion really helped me a lot.
I was wrong, against exi 06 stock tires, my custom 205/40/17 makes it just 0.03% deviate from the acutal specs, i guess this makes it a perfect combination as having light weight wheels then my current would rather increase the performance!!

I've kept an EXi in the past, 7J is fine.

    I would however suggest R17/45/215
