    Dear Brothers!

I am planning to buy new altis but bit confuse between auto or manual transmission. I already have got Altis manual (old shape) n now planning to upgrade to new one!

Your valued comments are requested about whether i should go for manual or auto??

Owners of both are kindly requested to share their experiance about the both!!!

    Thanks..!!!

@Uk I have a cruisetronic without sunroof & am exceptionally happy with it, I would suggest go for the auto model, as the switchtronic (triptronic) feature is a very good option for where you need more power . Then you also always have the D drive mode for simple automatic driving.
The other feature in the auto version is the cruise control which though useless in the city, is extremely ueful on the motorway. Over all its nice car. The only feature not added , which bothers me is retractable mirrors .

In the city the average is around 10.4 kms while on long routes it climbs up to around 14 these averages are with the AC on.
Talking about civics they are great as well , maybe more comfortable & have slightly more power, but a corolla has a slightly rugged suspension suited for our roads. Thats why I opted for it over the civic.

thanx once again for the reply...!

you are absolutely right about the suspension. my cusion has 2008 vti orial prosmetic and it has got real problem abt road clearance and suspension( specially back one). Corolla is tougher than civic and more suited to our roads. have u driven the old altis, if yes, is their any major difference in drive of both? n which colour have u got in ur cruisetronic?
