As the level of water on the roads rised and raised above the door levels both of my cars got flooded with water frm inside, nw my basic qs is tht although the se saloon is old nw, how can the new altis have water leaked inside, isnt it a big manafacturing defect? And i wud be pretty thnkful to u ppl, if u cud give me any remedies on how to soak the water frm inside cuz although i have cleaned it a lot of times the next time i open the car, its present there, cuz i feel the car has absorbed a lot of water, plz tell me hw to get rid of tht stinking smell tht has crept inside and also hw to clean the carpet of the car.

I blessed in these rains as I use to drive 4X4, and during these rains, I was enjoying my Jeep CJ7. It has diesel 3.5 Litter engine so I was comfortable during roaming in the city and out of city. On Saturday's heavy rain, water came uptill the bonnet of my Jeep (its about 4.7 feet high from the ground level) in some areas of the city but I survived as the air cleaner is around 4.5 feet high and doors of the Jeep are well packed.

Many cars had been towed that night through my Jeep.

Cars with Electronic complecated computrized or cruisetronic systems are ofen being got captured during these rains. A new Corolla 2009 of my friend was also flooded and the automatic gearing system and controlling card got burned. Now, Toyota is replacing it with new one. Car was not insured and he has to pay around 157K.

Please be careful during driving on flodded roads. The point is, that, a good Anti Rust & Water Proofing Coat down the vehicle able to protect things around 85% more then the non coated vehicles.

Well bro this is not companies manufacturing fault.Just imagine one company is making new model of car so it has also provided some function beafore launching any car model in mkt whether is its Toyota,Honda, etc.Although one thing is clear that in these havey rains of karachi AUTOMATIC AUTOMBILES ARE THE BIG FAILURE....... In Karachi Specially in these rains.....

In your Case of SE Saloon & ALtis there are 4 different rubber type material are emposed under your each indidual seat.If you lay down under your car you clearly see that those rubbers are specially designed to remove in these type of situtaions as soon as possible so that your car will get rid of water floating inside it.Got it.Eveyr automobile has those rubbers emposed under the seat of the car.So it's not any companies fault of manufacturing the automobiles. They aren't fools. These all are our lack of knowledge.......Regards

So my friend remove those rubbers so that you can get rid of water & smell inside your cars
    Regards - mR.HaMzaH
