Default Somebody said Corollas cheaper to maintain

Hi all lot has been written that Corollas are cheaper to maintain than Civics, but I have read a few posts and also friends here say they were surprised to see the low maintenace charges and parts rate charged by Honda. The 3S dealer in Islamabad, Toyota Islamabad motors have following charges for an XLi. Honda and other friends please post what you are charged for comparison sake.

10,000Km maintenance which is changing oil, oil filter, cleaning of plugs and brake service............Rs 840

    Oil fiter................Rs 460
    Air filter...............Rs 1025
    Toyota engine oil 4litre.Rs 820
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

    hello!
mine 1.5l......its a carby but comes same in performance with XLi and spectra....
    this engine takes lead...
    Oil Filter =150/-
    Engine Oil =580/-
    Air Filter =100/-
so get it done 2 times...after that you find it expensive...then get the stuff yourself and get what is best running in market....oil can be castrol GTX or Havoline By caltex are best....air cleaner is better you put genuine or if not so get some imported....oil filter also means so get the best...local genuine...what you can expect from them yaar...they find ways to collect money as much as they can...ppl spend for the sake of car performace but won't get it still when doing...so its better to get it solve yourself
