A well tuned santro or cultus can give 13 in city and 16 on highway at 110-120. If u drive them on 80 or 70 then it even increases. After all at 120 the rpm reaches 4500-5000 of 1.0l vehicals.

I think the only cars which can do around 20km per liter or slightly higher are those Japanese 660c mini cars (Jdm Alto, mira, etc). The official mileage of latest generation jdm ALTO which is martui A-stars Japanese 660cc version is 24.5km/L and that also only on highway and these are company claimed figures.

Well yes why would u believe.

The car is at 1800 rpm at 100-110. And if you maintain the stated speed with well tuned and well kept engine. You can get that. And the best average in city was 11 but in winters. In summers it has dropped to 9 or 10 cuz the ac is being used regularly.

There is no electronic gadget in vitz. Must be manually. And manually measured is more accurate. Sometimes your gaget shows the range of 0kms and your easily drive 50kms. Simlary case happend with clarkson in topgear when he tested the Audi A8.
