    Default Severe CNG/Petrol Problem in my 2007 corolla

    Brothers, Kindly help me in solving my problem, actually in my 2007 corolla, it seems problem in rpm in conn. with cng, whenever i start the car, rpm meter comes to 0.3/0.5 bur problem is this that whenever the car gets slow, car shut off automatically, this cause problem like in crowd when car get slow in 2nd/1st gear ,it shut off auto & then it is very difficult to start car again , it start after 6-7 sulf,
    the problem become sevre when around in turning/cuts/traffic signal , car is in 1st gear but it seems car is dying,i press full aceleraor pedal but car is dying, it moves very slowly, this severe problem brought me near severe accident many times because pupil think that it will move but car move very slowly, similarly whenever i stops the car & restart again, it doesnot start start in 1st/2nd ignition, it starts after 6-7 hard ignition, 3 weeks before when same problem came, the car was not starting at all then my neighbour came & he switch from cng to petrol then it start but last night problem was dangerous because it stoppede at hotel for dinner with my family, when i again restart the car, it doesnot start after 10-11 hard ignition/sulf, then i convert it to petrol it starts but it was worst in petrol , in petrol i presses full accelerator but it seems no power, rpm meter just moves only upto 1 to 2 at full & even i was pressing pedal but even from 1 or 2 rpm drops again to 0 & then car shut off, when i release the cluth, it couldnot move even a inch with full accelerator(YOU CAN IMAGINE WHEN THERE WAS FAMILY IN CAR, HOW DIFFICULT IT WAS TO MANAGE CAR )then after 10 min, i switched it back to cng, at this time it started normally in 2nd ignition/sulf & then it move normally
    after that car is normal except( IT NEVER STARTS ON 1ST/2ND IGNITION, ALWAYS IN NORMAL CONDITION IT STRATS ON 3rD/4TH SULF)
    i brought car to classic cng but they told that they dont have computerized tuning devices got to somewhere where there is computerized cng tuning available , when i brought car to another cng shop they told starting of EFI CARS ON 3RD/4TH IGNITION IS NORMAL BECAUSE SWITCH GETS READING SIGNAL FROM ECU ELECTRICALLY & IT TAKES SOME TIME SO IT CAN NEVER COMPARED WITH CARBY CARS SO DONT WORRY, when i brought car to 3rd shop they also told that CNG IS NOT RECOMMEND FOR MORE THAN 1000 C.C , so this type of problem occurs it WILL NEVER START ON 1ST/2ND SULF

    so i posted it here to solve problem, in my thinking
    1. it should be better tuned on both petrol & cng
    2. it should start on 1st ignition
    3. the rpm should be at 1 when car stats, in that case car will not stop around turning/ traffic signal(like my corolla dies at turning/traffic signal because rpm is 0.3-0.5

    PLEASE HELP ME ( I AM VERY WORRY)WHY IN MY NEW CAR THESE PROBLEMS ARE COMING & FROM WHERE WHICH SHOP IN KARACHI, I CAN GET COMPUTERIZED TUNING FOR EFI, IS IT POSSIBLE TO SET RPM ON 1 ALWAYS, IS ALL THESE PROBLEM LINKED TO GOOD TUNING OR THERE COULD BE ANOTHER REASON, PLEASE READ COMPLETE CASE & THE GUIDE ME , HOW TO START CAR ON 1ST SULF/IGNITION ON BOTH PETROL & CNG

    does ur car start on petrol and then convert to cng?

    does ur car have a emulator and advancer?if so which one?

    whice reducer kit are u using?

    @hash4u
    no it is not necessary always that i start first on petrol then convert on cng.
    for sometimes in night when i come late i leave the car on cng & in morning i start on cng, sometimes if i dont have to drive car for 1 or 2 day then before switch off i put car on petrol & then after 2 days i start car on petrol then con. to cng

    as i bought car recently before 6 months( in start there was problem but not severe like this) 1 more thing i want to mention,may be it helps that before 4 months ,during service of car, @ carwash they put water on engine after that my ecu was burnt, then my brother changed the ecu but even after changing ecu there was not any change

    secondly before this car i have mehran , so when i bought this car, this car had already kit(but as this ecu car so i think only think that it should have advancer & emulator? what would u say?) i dont know where is advancer & how to check the brand of advancer & emulator, how to check it/brand? where is it located & how it looks like, if u can kindly attach the picture of both, i checked the kit & switch & both are of landirenzo while cylinder is inflex

    better if u give me shop name in khi to get computerized tuning done

    you definately don't have advancer . emulator in your car. ALL EFI's automatically start on petrol and then automatically switch to CNG as per settings.
    check all the things i mentioned above and also

    you dont need "electronic" tuning. this is not a 5 series which has to be hooked for diagnosis

    previous owner has done cost cutting and got normal carby kit installed in ur car.
    go to any re knowned cng place and u will need to change,

    cng switch
    install emulator+advancer
    get ready for little expenditure!

    Broth i haven't understood why ur car do not starts automatically on petrol...irfan is right all efi cars automatically start on petrol and upon accelerating when rpm reaches 3000 ( in most of the cars) it automatically converts on CNG....n e ways...i will suggest you to get ur cng kit checked by ENERCON or any other place who install CNG kits.....

    Get your car checked from Toyota Central and tell them to tune up your car on petrol, and then get your car checked from a good cng mechanic and get it tuned on cng

    Its much better for your car and ur mind peace that remove tht CNG thingy and Tune up pn Petrol and drive on Petrol as Emulator and Advancer will cost u around 10~12k and thn check in how long u will recover it with Engine Decay, Trunk Room and Always sitting with Bomb at back.

    Definatley a bad kit there.

    But something else is a miss as well ... because your car is dying on PETROL ... which it shouldnt under normal circumstances. No revving seems like the engine is being flooded with petrol + cng, which could be the case if the kit is a jugar and the CNG doenst turn off when ur on petrol ... or there is a problem in the ECU

    My advice ... get the CNG kit removed completely, use the car on petrol for a few days to see if its the CNG kit causing the problem or if something is a problem in the engine. The fuel costs arent too high so u wont be in much of a hassle.

    Now, if it IS the kit thats hte problem. You have two choices

    - Get the stuff needed extra for your kit ... and get it fixed by a proper guy

    Or

    - Sell this kit off (its a carby kit so it will sell off rather easily) ... and get a complete new setup in your car (recommended)

    Or

    If you do not have much usage of car ... run on petrol

    u r right, at time of closing off, if i put in cng then on next start ,automatically it starts 1st on petrol,then after start automatically it comes to cng with "tuk" sound & light of petrol(orange) disappears, while if i close it on petrol, then it sometimes caused problem

    but now this strange problem disappears automatically, form 2 days, it is almost ok, only yesterday when i switch it off then it take too much long time to start(ab. 7-8 sulf) after "tuk" sound

    & just today morning when i went outside(it was on cng), then on traffic signal, at 1st gear, it dies, i was pressing full pedal but it was not moving, it was moving very slowly, then suddenly i press full pedal of accelerator as well i pressed full clutch, when rpm reaches 5 then i released clutch, then it becomes ok, after that i stoped at various signal,no problem, drive is ok again now but sometimes it cause severe problem sp. in crowd if it stuck then i t is difficult to manage, but otherwise it is ok, i just took to mechanic shop, he drive & said, it is ok now what should do now, when problem comes then come,otherwise no need to alter anything

    i think u pupil r right, it seems no advancer installed, kit is very similar to one installed in my previous mehran
    1 more thing i am doubt ab. it that the anaqlog meter of cng installed with kit, most of time needle sticks to 100 although inside on digital switch it shows 4 leds or even red led but sometimes needle on analog sticks to 100 only
    anyway it is ok now but sometimes caus eproblem,what to do now
    & how to insatll advancer & how much budget should i put for this ,can i get used one?

    just clean the spark plugs
    replace air filter
    and increase the rpm via throttle lever by "L" key
    n see the differance
