    @Storm, Spectra

    Over assisted (or over-servoed) is the best way to describe a Corollas brakes. No other car I've driven has a pedal so soft and brakes so eager to clamp down on the discs.

    Mind you, if brakes do lock up, it gives an indication (however true or false) of the brakes reserve of power. I suppose better tires help. That and using threshold or cadence braking (Not so easy I admit when confronted by an oncoming truck that's lost its tie rod...). To all others,

    so the solution is to drive a corolla bare foot so u press it softly.the heavier the shoe, the harsher u strike the paddle and lock the wheels resulting in "ski show" (previous page has a sample)

    @hash

    LOL! I'd have to do that, as I have a size 14 :p And I have a liking for Timberlands!!!

    A couple of solutions:

    1. Put a piece of rubber foam underneath the brake pedal?

    2. Yank the servo vacuum line off...

    3. Drive slowly.

    4. Put in drag slicks at all four wheels.

    That's all that I can think off right now.

    Cheers!

    ENDLESS TOPIC...
    I think it's like saying 'kia soraj waqai east say nikalta hai'.
    So far,the ppl who own carolla are trying to convince the others who either dont own it or were hit by a carolla and then ran...So jiskaye pass hai ussnaye tou tareef hi karni hai,or jis ka accident hova hai carolla say,usnaye tou gussa hi karna hai...
    Qaiser Pal,I have not failed.But found 1 of 10,000 ways which doesn't work.....Toyota driver "I couldn't repair my brakes,so i made my horn louder"..When i was born i was so surprised that i didn't talked to one and half year..since light travel faster then sound,people appear bright until you hear them speak..If u can't convince them,confuse them
