    Default max tyre size for corolla 2006

    slam. every body.
    i want to install tyres of big size in my 2.od saloon 2006,plz tell me:-
    1. what would be the max size i should not exceed
    2.will there be any problem with big tyres like 19-20 inch
    3.what r the advantages and disadvantages of low profile tyres
    4.any special tip before buying the tyres


    i will be gratefull to all of u if u ans any of the above question....

    The max tire size that you can go up to is 235/45/17 this is the size that although is quite big for the car to adore but if you are ready to live with the affects to be faced such as hard on comfort,heavy on fuel,poor braking,inaccurate mileage/speed readings and suspension ware n tare comparatively earlier as compare to stock size then go for it and the only advise for buying the tires is do check the date of production on then go for the fresh ones as much as you can find them.

    low profile have only disadvantage in pakistan u will alway be at puncture shop fixing the puncture suspension will worn out

    stick to 195/65R15's anythign else will be the worng size.

    as for lower profile tyres on larger tims,.. they are just for show and offer no advantage to such cars for street use.

    ^ 195/65/15 is not within 3% its more than 6% from the stock tyre size.
