My dear ZIC Ci-4 is no way synthetic. It says so on the bottle. It is synthetic formula. Now about its quality it is definitely a good engine oil.

If you want to go for a true synthetic motor oil for your diesel car. Please do try MICKING ULTRA CI-4 Fully Synthetic made in Korea. Recommended for drain intervals of (8000+). Its worth a try.

Delo Silver is a great industry standard for diesel engines.
You can also try MICKING Silver CF-4 15w40. It is a step better that Delo Silver in its formulation and will definitely take good care of your engine.

They work hard to keep the oil clean - capturing junk. Of all the so called genuine Toyota filters Ive seen in Pakistan they cant clean worth jack - Either they are fake, expired or some other snake oil.

When in Karachi, my diesel runs for 5000 kms before any oil change, the oil comes out with suspended particles in it (nice) - and its always super super happy to carry me anywhere I wish - when I work on it (rarely - because its a rock solid VW design) the engine is always clean with no sludge or buildup - and my oil pressure at idle is about 20 psi minimum with coolant temps at 92 degrees and oil temperature at about 100 degrees.

The filter is a little pricey but not more pricey than a busted crank or busted oil pump

Can someone guide me where I can get the imported filters for Toyota 2d. also can someone provide info on their serial number if possible

neither Delo Gold nor Silver come close to Fleetmaster LD, they shouldn't even be used in the same sentence to be honest. it's like trying to compare Coca-Cola to double-cola

Sir definitely, one of my friend even got a genuine Mobil 1 filter.

Check the opposite street of Japan plaza in the inner street, there are lots of oil/air filter dealers in a row.

NOTE: If you have the filter and need a filter of any high end/specific car like Accord/Galant, just show them the filter and tell them that it belongs to a "Kali Peli taxi".

I do the same for my 1988 Accord air filter.

So much talk about grades and what is current and what is not. CI4 is not latest standard for deisel its CJ4 but take a closer look at the fuel types. I'll list them for you.

CI-4 is Current Introduced in 2002 for high-speed four-stroke engines. Designed to meet 2004 exhaust emission standards implemented in 2002. CI-4 oils are formulated to sustain engine durability where exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is used and are intented for use with diesel fuels ranging in sulphur content up to 0.5% weight. Can be used in place of CD, CE, CF-4, CG-4 and CH-4

If I were you i would look for CF on the box and here is why

CF is also current and Introduced in 1994 for off-road, indirect-injected and other diesel engines including those using fuel over0.5% weight sulphur. Can be used in place of CD.

I Haagen to own two land cruisers 1998 and 2006 and using Shell Helix Ultra in both ever since it was introduced in Pakistan. 0 smoke and amazing mileage and you can hardly tell if the engine is running or not.
