    its a brand new car, please stay away from any experiments, send it to Toyota let them do there work

    PS: jst my opinion, yours might differ
    Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

    My suggestion.
    Go to Toyota and they will tell you which one to use.
    If not then Petromin Ultra and Castrol Magnetic are the best but they are not synthetic.

    But its better to stay with them till the warranty period expires. To avoid any bad experiences

    EDIT:

    The Toyota motor oil maybe Pakistans worst oil, but does the job pretty well, plus its economical. And lasts for a good 5,000 kms

    If warranty is not an issue, then go for Mobil 1.

    Your warranty will be void if you put any other oil than TMO. If some problem arises, the 3S dealer will open the car maintenance record in their computer and tell you sorry, you did not put TMO or did not bring the car at required interval for regular maintenance and oil change.

    If you want to keep the car under warranty, keep using TMO from 3S dealer. It is a good oil by the way and lasts 5K kms in good condition and cleans the engine as well.
    Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

    Are you sure warranty will be void by using any engine oil other than TMO? Can you provide any reference to it.

    In the user manual it is not written any where that you must only use TMO. Only recommended oil grades are mentioned.

    Please confirm it along with reference.

    Thanks,

    @dr_aamir
    if cost is not an issue than go for mobil1 or Zic XQ as both are the most superior synthetic oils available in PK.

    if you want a mineral which is more than enough to take care of your new engine for the ecommended intervals then you can either use Petromin Ultra7 or Fuchs SuperGT

    @129
    Mobil doesn't make all it's own oil. infact mobil super is made by petromin for them.

    Is it mentioned in the user manual or the warranty booklet that owner must only use Toyota Motor Oil? I tried to find it in the user manual and warranty book let but they have only mentioned the oil grade there. If you have 2009/2010 corolla then can you tell me the page number of the user manual where it is mentioned?

    Thanks,
