Default What makes "Corolla 86" so special??

Dear Friends! I'm amazed to listen such type of remarks from mechanics/drivers etc " 86 Corolla ki kia baat hai"" " 86 Corolla k baad koi car us jesi nai ayee"" " car tu bus 86 corolla he hai"" and so on. I'm confused what special has in that car?? old model, old shape, poor CNG performance, poor brakes in current scenario etc etc.

Bhai try to understand my logic behind the comparisons I made. I didn't say about your style of driving. If I drove rolla 86 for more than 250k kms before first replacement of clutch plate, for city, it took just 120k kms. I know you are a very good driver and I am a very bad one at it....but my comparison isn't with you....I hope you understand what I said.

i used to listen to this as well... my driver used to say... "chiyasee(86) machli kee tarhan tairtee hay"

i had an 88 se model.... it had great acceleration in its 1.5l engine and the interior was awesome and we called it a very weak body(when it was new) but by the time we sold it, we considered it really strong compared to the modern ones...

All I can say is, the new Toyota 86. The original was such an icon.

i had an 86 AT( my dad had it infact) & an 88 MT TX model as well, no doubt they were good cars at that time but no where are they near to the current corolla . They were good in their own time, consider them antique now and stop comparing with the new models.
Bro you cannot compare because your not 86 lovers.
86 corolla is more durability, strong and tough then new corolla if you not understand that then there is no need for discussion.

As i said , i have owned and used 86 and an 88 as well. i have good insight about these cars , they were good til the 90s era only. Comparing an 86 corolla with a 2015 corolla is utter nonsense. Technology has evolved drastically since then with improved engines, emissions, aerodynamics , designs and so much more.
durable , tough , strong , seriously? r we taking our cars to fight a war or what ?Yeah i wont understand , better not to discuss it with me .
