    @Waleed
For myself facelift and release date is big concern. Coz I am not in Altis game, I am interested in GLI and waiting from November to book new facelifted model. if Altis base model will be less than 1650K, I would like to opt for it (budget issue). I might be able to confirm about engine in coming 2-3 days.

One thing we are forgetting here, as the Gli has the same engine with VVTi and DBW, Becasue of DBW there have been CNG issues occuring,

So if the 1.6 is relaunched its probably going to come out with a DBW, which could mean issues on CNG too.
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

yes....if its DBW, then i agree, its gonna have CNG troubles for sure....just like the 2NZ non vvti till 07 corolla was a gem on CNG...and then 08 onwards with vvti and dbw, the same engine is a burden on the car, instead of helping the car to move

We need three price tag guesses; 1.6 M/T, 1.6 M/T SR; 1.6 A/T and 1.6 A/T SR. Currently they are charging 90k for SR and 85k for Cruisetronic. If they start from 15.5; 1.6 A/T SR probably will be 17.5; a competition within trims as 1.8 A/T is 17.9.

In my opinion; 1.8 A/T might lose; 1.8 A/T will still be 40k more with almost negligible power difference (if 1.6 is 1zrefe only 4hp?) 1.6 engine will be latest (dual vvti) and you will also be getting sunroof!

it wud be definately DBW as 1.8 altis previous shape 1zzfe engine is same as current altis but with DBW....so even if 1.6 3zzfe come it wud be DBW...only non DBW in current corolla is 2.0D as those engine r 20+ yr old
My lugnuts require more torque than your Vtec can put out...

About the prices. As has been confirmed unofficially, the 1.8 manual variants have been dropped. The current 1.8 automatic prices are as follows:

    1.8 A/T: 17,90,000
    1.8 A/T SR: 18,80,000

The price of GLi at the moment in 14,62,000. It would be realistic to expect Indus to raises prices of all trims with the facelift, because this is Pakistan and they do that.

So my guess for the new prices is this:

    1.3 GLi: 14,75,000
    1.6 M/T: around 15,50,000
    1.6 A/T: around 16,50,000
1.6 M/T SR: Same as 1.6 A/T with give or take 5000-10,000 rs difference
    1.6 A/T SR: 17,30,000 - 17,50,000
    1.8 A/T: 17,95,000 - 18,00,000
1.8 A/T SR: 19,00,000 plus (to be on par with Civic's price)

These are just my guesses, not the final price list from Toyota

Anyway, can anyone confirm about the *blingy* stuff? Like I've heard Toyota will start offering Satnav/DVD/reverse cam system that Honda's offering in the Civic? And that there are going to be steering mounted music controls and stuff? Is this stuff true?

And I talked to my source in Toyota Airport Motors Lahore again and he reiterated that the engine in the 1.6 version will be the 3ZZ-FE with single VVT-i, and that the XLi trim will be abandoned. Can anyone else confirm this XLi news?

Default This forum post says otherwise...

https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/whe...istan-facelift says that Rahim Impex of Sialkot did this facelift. This means this is not done by Toyota Indus, but some facelifting mechanics.

    What you say now?
