a cassette you can still record on a jdm machine. cd and dvd sold here are pirated, plus dvd is not allowed for driver anyway.

on average a good quality blank cassette is more expensive than a blank cd. after long hours of listening, a cassette sounds more"well balanced" to ears compared to a copy cd..

unless you have original cd,, now thats a diffirent story

^^ Toyota Indus thinks we are naive and they can make fool of us!

I am so pissed off from Toyota Indus on backing off from few good things they have done in past; they introduced 1.8L engines and tiptronic in local market and now they have backed off from it They think rain sensing wipers are more important for us

This is totally misleading. Cassettes are "analog" media which is prone for "fidelity loss" and CDs are "digital" media; as long as they work; they work like the first day! The copy CD (if done right) will always have characteristics of the original CD. I have done it number of times to archive and throw away my Audio CDs from 90s!

But wait; why we are discussing this in "CNG" news thread! My bad; but I could not resist; wanted to set the facts straight!

Sorry dear... CD is 100 times more reliable then cassette..... Cassette is now an old and trashed technology. There is no difference in a pirated or original audio or video cd or dvd. If data is correct. I am not talking about windows or other programs cd or dvd. Only talking about Video and Audio discs.

yup it should have had been criusematic now
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

Lol when i read rain sensors, i was like they should have had added headlight adjusters or a extra airbag instead.

About not offering the triptronic. first of all i thot i had a justification,

That Toyota was now only focusing on Gli, and Altis was just a side line, so they are emphasising on the Gli only, if we look that way, a manual Gli can cost 1589,000 (lessed 90k of the auto tranny) which is just 60k more then 1.3L Gli, who would mind paying 60k more and get a 1.6L manual Gli.

But then im thinking previusly Toyota was offering the triptronic tranny for 90k only, and now only a normal 4 AT for the same amount, which is already a outdated product. This is realy bad on Toyotas part.

They are more focussing on GLI.But at this point GLI AT seems to be a good deal compared to base altis and VTI MT.

Thats what i wanna know .There can be difference in power and acceleration but the engine is latest so it will be more responsive ,fuel economical and less power lag.
    Comparison 1.8 :130 HP and 1.6 :124 HP
SO theres negligible difference in power but theres some significant difference in torque

a 25MegaByte WMA Song from a Original Disk will retain its Sound Quality no matter how many times it is ripped or copied

A Digital Copy (CD/DVD) does not degrade in quality
A Magnetic Copy (Cassette) will never sound as good as it did even after a few months of long use

Rip it to a 320kpbs MP3 Format and u wont be able to tell the difference
Rip it to 128kpbs and the difference will start to show
Rip it to 64kbps and it will STILL sound better than Cassette

Torque matters more especially for city driving. And 6HP difference is a significant difference. Come to think of it like this. All so called stage 1 mods on a corolla would hardly add 6HP more. Yet the difference in a 'stage 1 car' and a stock car in a drag race is significant.

If u r talking about new corolla, its arm rest is very well placed but in previous model yes it was very low.
