i need some serious advice .................
1.does engine gets F-kedup on cng as all dealers say?(some thing about "engine head need repair" etc)
2.how much mileage does it give on 55kg cylinder? ( 55kg cylinder get full on 425-500 rs )
3.performance difference? (as its already strugling due to 1.3L on 1.8L body & not to mention extra 55kg cylinder in car BUT)
4.Will i actually save any money?(cus drive is 40-100km daily and 30k for fuel/month is not i gonna bare..??

40K Evreyday makes it stand at 6800 almost?
100K everyday makes it stand at 17000 almost?
You also need to make sure,

1- On CNG, you are not going to get everyday, your car would keep running on petrol for 1 to 2 days every week (during winter)

    2- You would ruin warranty
3- You would invest 40-60 thousand extra that should also be included in CNG/km price.
4- Always in a CNG line every day (total waste of time) for 10 minutes
5- Don't know if you get engine penality and how much!
6- If you really go 100KM daily, you might save some money. 40 isn't a big deal.

If you bought a 1300CC brand new car for over a million, and you are ready to put extra 60000 for CNG, you ain't be called Poor. But its your money and you would afford, so wish you good luck if you go for CNG.

Yar i have installed CNG in my 2010 last week after asking and confirming from many people who actually using their new corollas on CNG.
I have driven 8500 Km on petrol and now i have installed CNG kit ( installation from Toyota GT Islamabad) and it givening me 160km/55Kg Cylinder with AC within City so saving money.

As far as Engine wear and tear is confirm, Toyota also told me that after 50 to 60 thousand Km your car may have jam/ hardened tappets and it repair cost is around 20k if you repair them from Toyota or if from any open market it will cost you around 8k to 12 k. But you can delay this problem by using petrol with CNG.. if you everyday run your car for 3 4 Km on petrol then this work may be delayed till 1 lac plus Kms.

I also have driven one new GLI of a rent a car done 80k kms on CNG and working perfect.

if you re planing to install Landirenzo kit then also use original Emulator and Advancer (Emulator Toyota LR and Advancer STAP 300 or STAP 100/2)

MashahAllah my car is doing good so far on pick and performance but only used it for a week. May be after a month i'll give you exact experience about CNG.

all the more reason you don't need it then. bad weather's gone till the next few months.

i tell you, my Platz worked Rs. 3-4/km whether on petrol or cng. it did become false economy. only peace of mind that it's just Rs. 500 every second morning. yeah, i would not come home till i hadn't driven at least 100km everyday owing to my previous routine of 150km +.

Dear, I have my GLI with original landirenzo cng kit installed with 55kg cylinder. It gives me perfect mileage and smooth ride. The initial pickup is very good and in touched almost 160 KM/h very easily. So far i have driven almost 75000km and nothing happened to my engine. Mashallah. I got installed from renouned automobile workshop Suntech Automobiles here in lahore and i am very much satisfied with their work. You better contact Mr.Awais ur rehman there. He is a very nice and educated man, his contact is 03004427008. Thanx

    Im getting 100km in 1000rs (12.8km/l)(petrol)
Dude, should have used a calculator.
    Petrol is 73rs litre,
So with an avg of 12.8km/l you should get 175km in 1000rs....

I would suggest that if you instal advancer + Emulator and along with that Lamda control system with you landerenzo kit you should get a patrol like pick and a much better mileage then the normal cng kit. Lamda control works like EFI, i was pretty impressed with the performance.the car remained very light and i use to check the switch to see if it was on patrol or cng !!

    Thumbs down Vvti cng

Just take some time to see the http://www.google.com.pk/url?sa=t&rc...XpdXhg&cad=rja

You will ruin the engine if u use CNG, its totally not suitable !!!

VVTi + CNG = BUSTED VALVES or even GASKET (Toyotaz, Platz, Vitz, XLi , GLi, Fielder, X, etc etc). Bust your Engine at 1Lak Km For Sure whatever you do.

Best Performance for CNG is in Daewoo (ETEC and M-TEC Engines with Variable Intake and hydraulic valve controls technology) Daewoo (Single Injector), Optra (Multi Injector), Joy, Spark etc
