Smile Engine Swap For 2010 Gli.

    Assalam o Alaikum.

Guys i was thinking about swapping engine for my new Corolla Gli (2010). The best offer i got was 2ZZ Ge. So thought to ask you guys that whether this swap would be a better idea or not.

You can also suggest me any other engine.

Would it be a Bolt-on fitting or not?

2ZZGE will fit bolt to bolt but the electrics wont work directly you would need to custom make some wiring harnesses for the EPS, ABS and dashboard to work. Not to mention the 2ZZ will use an ECU thats supposed to be seated in the cabin not the engine room. You would also need to fiddle around with the cooling system pipes.

why not look for a 2AZ - from the new camry - it will fit on perfectly and its got much much more torque. And you can easily adapt it to the newer corolla wiring system

Bhai its your car your choice. But i wont suggest to swap engine now. First use this engine till it starts giving problems. Perfect engines should not be altered. Aur jo aap ko is mai mashwara dai reha ahi wo bhi aap ka dost nahi. Baki i would say shouk ka koi mool nahi.

    best of luck.
