Smile CNG in Toyota Altis 2009

    Salamz all......!

As the title refers we're planning to get my Dad's Altis 2009 CNG'd. Mileage 28K done. Fuel average is 10-12 km/l during city cruising and 13-14km/l during long routes.

As we changed our home last week which is qiute far from my dad's office so his daily journey becomes about 75-80 kms in city. Honestly, this daily drive on sky rocketed prices of petrol gives him a very hard time on his pocket. So plz @ Pakwheelers kindly suggest:-

    1. Is CNG feasible with 1.8 Altis?

    2. If it is.....! Then what would be its estimate cost?

    3. Where is the best place to convert to CNG in rwp/isb?

    4. What average does Altis gives on CNG?

    Thnx.

    Anxiously awaiting replies.

    Peace

Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

Its a good Idea to check with Landirenzo company to find out from where to get the Kits installed. In Karachi I have found Energy Zone near Jail Chowrangi to be good.

My Altis 2009 had its Engine opened and lots of work done on it, New Valves. Cost me around 25K. The mileage was around 44K. I am really disapointed i previously drove Gli 2005 model and its head was opened after it did 150K and that cost me only 15K. I had a horrible month when it would stop working on gas while driving whenever i slowed down. Worked ok only on Petrol, but would stop on that aswell. I want to make sure i have 100K before i have to spend money on engine again. Please experts advise what to do. Do i need to get Lambda installed on it. It has Tomasetto CNG Kit Advancer, Emulator and Faber 55Kg cylinder
