    Default Corolla Cluth plate...gone!

Guys, my Gli was giving me problems especially when accelerating..it would jump around. Anyway took it to Toyota this morning and the guy there blatantly says that the cluth plate is "farig" and this happens to all Corolla's after they hit 60,000KM. Well the problem is mine has only done 52,000! Is this true?

Plus I have observed that a lot of my friends and relatives keep their foot on clutch, I mean keep it pressed when waiting at red light or sneaking through a traffic jam. That also ruins the clutch earlier than its normal life
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

    auto:
full pressed clutch and car not in motion in gear is fine at red light,,

half pressed clutch while driving is no good.

the civics and rolla's going out without drivers on rent usually loose there clutch after 30k. As people abuse it. Its all about driving habbits. Same goes for brake shoes and other wearable parts of the car
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

    hello!
in hydrulic clutch system....it really happens with most of the pplz....clutch is so soft that it goes in and out so much easily...so some pplz has got habbit of half clucth depressed or either foot rested on clutch...thats why its pressed till some extent casuing the excessive wearout than normal......wire clutch is free from this...need force to do so....some pplz did that also in wire type clutch......so be sure to remove your foot completely off from clutch after gear was shifted.....anywayz...its strange wearing plates like that...
