    lancer brakes are not that good.. sometimes get slip when u apply sudden brakes as it dsnt have ABS.. the reason u r not satisfied with the braking system cud be that u don't know how to apply brakes :p

    mines just 600kms old, Brakes quiet better then the 9th Gen i have, The 9th Gen Gli, locks the wheels as soon as you touch the brake pedal.

    This one, the brakes work when the pedal is presed a little further, The only thing that i noticed was that on high speeds (80-90) all the braking power seems to be at the front. the car seems to lean down from the front as brakes are applied.
    Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

    My friend has a GLI and he is also complaining about the brakes....but in my GLI brakes are fine...cant understand whats the problem with his car
