Exclamation Reasons for Poor braking system on Toyata Corolla 2007

I have tested the braking system of many local cars such as Liana, Honda City, Honda Civic but toyata Corolla 2006 has the worst braking system.

Few people think that the problem is with the T-distribution with the braking system. I cant say much about this but would like to hear your comments on this subject and how can I modify the system such that it gives a better braking performance.

Any one aware of the reason why these cars have such a poor brakes.

Sirs EXI never had ABS like VTI always had ABS with EBD.

The Eagle Eye EXI had added discs on all 4 wheels and also the tires were bigger and wider, so it was superior in braking to previous Cat Eye EXi.

The E140 GLi is even bigger then the new Civic so we should not compare it with 7th Gen Civic.

New GLi definitely brakes better in wet or during cornering.

About old XLi/ GLi, very surprisingly I never felt the brake locking phenomenon in my 05 GLi, but it happens in my office colleague XLi, also happens in 2 XLis, I rented, but then again it was not there in a 08 XLi which I purchased and sold.

So, I am still not sure whether it is a manufacturing fault, due to different combination of disc/pads, brake oil or tires or simply a design fault.

One thing I can assure everyone that it never happened in Canadian Corollas.

I dont know much but I think it might be due to the hardness/softness if the suspension of the car (shocks/springs).
Braking relies on suspension of the car as much as it relies on braking mechanism itself.
And braking distribution is also an important factor. Bad distribution between front and rear wheels can make screw car's stopping capabilities.
Every time someone refers to Honda Civic as 'reborn', a puppy dies! Oh and I hate increasing my post count.

If you are talking about good braking, than Nissan Sunny rules, even the 86 sunny used to stop like a wall has come infornt of it. Civics always pull to the left

get a proper T-distribuor (with a bigger proportioning valve) and get it installed, your brakes are a mess anyway so start tweaking

    Dear Ahmedk06

You mentioned that if I can change the T-distribution then things can get better. I did not understand that what do you mean by japanese Spring for front only.

Do you mean that I will also have to change the suspension springs for the front tires along with this. Can you elaborate ths.

    @ Mubeen Shahid

    Salam Brov...

i never said Honda Civic EXI 2006 have ABS....

I have seen your profile in Detailed... you are a Corolla Fan... So its final you wont let Civic b better in any case... so there is not point to argue with you... Cause you wont Accept Corolla's Defects and Honda's Positive Point..

i think you never drove any EXI... dude drive Honda any model.. you will 4get corolla...

    Cheers.......

@Mubeen, first of all, STOP making every God Damn thread a war zone! Where the hell did city come from?
Second, Exi has better brakes and over all better stability than your precious 10 Gli. Its a fact, live with it!

@OP, for now, try driving under 60 km/h to avoid any mishap.

@waleed80 the new corolla is having the same height as international one but old one was higher.
@topic it was poor due to
    more height
    withou abs

anyways rolla old was having poor brakes but city fish shape was also having bad breaks but not as rolla still skids at high speeds and its grip is also like floating car
he mentioned in his post abt the 2006 corolla, to which i replied....and i know the new corolla has the same height ....and listen to chinyoti
