Khurram Bhai .... I hope you are feeling better now. There is no known medicine for flu, so what you can do is relax and drink lots and lots of warm liquids i.e. soups, green tea ... It takes three days if you take medicine, and still three days if you don't

If possible, drink hot water ... Chinese cure their flu this way

I am discovering things about Madhouse ... the new discoveries come @ at least one per day ... Yesterday, I discovered another dimension of his personality ... Don't ask me about it

Just this morning, he sent me a design for DIY preparation of a Router Table ....

I was noting the ever increasing number of pages of the thread over the weekend; but had flu, cough and fever and could not gather enough courage to go through it; just have gone through the marvelous recent update using two cup of strong coffee’.

Great Work, enjoyed each picture and description. Its really inspiring. @Madhouse12 Bh; great to know about your "other hobbies" and huge tool collection! You are the man!

Thank you very much Tanveer Bhai ...

According to my survey and research, ALL the aftermarket lights have problems and issues. I am looking for Toyota Genuine Xenon Lights ... InshaAllah, I will install them once I get hold of them.

Her exact words were "Uff Allah..!!!"

But lately she has been worrying about my health. I am not eating or drinking or sleeping, and I can myself feel the effects. I badly need rest for some days.

Day before yesterday, I reached home at 1.45 am and then slept at 3 am, waking up after 3 hours at 6 am.

Standing for hours in workshops without shade, and adequate water ....

Day before yesterday, I had low blood sugar situation and almost collapsed ... I quickly got a cold drink and that resulted in improvement. I take a very light breakfast .... just take couple of cups of black coffee in office ... that long marathon workshop session resulted in that situation.

On the other hand, Madhouse is having a serious episode of back ache. He fell down and hut his back, and then just two days afterwards, a truck rammed into the Mehran and he hurt his back again.

Thank you very much Ali Bhai ...

Right now, I am busy in doing some essential work. Madhouse has given an assignment me to do ... wiring is taking time.

InshaAllah, we will get to improving the looks of remaining parts in the trunk, including the trunk lid.

Madhouse and I are doing all this in addition to our office work, so have little time left every day. Plus we live at farthest corners of the twin cities and commute takes more than one hour one way. Bro Madhouse has been asking me to find a house near his ...

The amps are award winning Sound Stream Reference Series REF800.4 ...

Lot of efforts have gone into making the sub enclosures. They are made from 7-layers of fiberglass plus an additional thick layer of resin and calcium powder. The bodies are lined with 4 mm thick layer of butyl rubber. They are perfectly sealed. Even for connectors ... we made connection plates on both sides ,,, connected the wires and then covered connectors on both sides with thick layer of hot glue to ensure perfect seal.

We added a cushion of polyester balls in polyester sheets, covered again in nylon mesh to protect against FG body flexing

The wiring is still not done .... but I am sure we will get good results.

Bhai .... you are right. These are sealed enclosures. According to our reckoning, they are not less than 1 cu ft in volume ... perhaps 1.2 cu ft

The previous one were ported and had 1.6 cu ft volume

Thank you Nomi Bhai for your appreciation ....

I have not been to Lahore for several months now. The car does not have computerized number plates on (I have them but never installed them). You saw someone else's car.

Classic Silver Grey is most common colour in Corolla (though in Islamabad, we see black and white cars more often) ...

@ ALL Friends ... Please do pray for our health .... The work on Laadli has been exhausting. Whatever we do, we have to sit or stand for hours at a stretch .. when we go somewhere, we have to ignore the food and water requirements (Bro Madhouse's house is an exception ... Bhabi keeps us well fed)

InshaAllah, we will keep on updating the progress.

Rustam Bhai ... You enjoyed the developments in Laadli, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed your style of writing ....

Actually, Laadli's upgrade started 30 minutes after I purchased the car on 14th June 2010. This thread was started on 10th March 2011 ... so a lot of water flew under the bridge. The first thing in this thread is "TPMS" ... and it is obvious that a lot of things had happened prior to that.

When I set my mind on doing something, I do a lot of research ... I ask people, consult the Gurus ... and I pay special attention to the dark side. I believe in Toyota philosophy "Do it right, the first time, every time" ....

I was reluctant to bring Laadli to PakWheel. Perhaps Madhouse "smelled" the potential of this car, and it was he who insisted that I should bring it to PakWheels as case of continuous upgrade. I am sure many people do the same, but we wanted to do everything top notch ... no second bests, and "Khokhar's 4 principles" have been observed with dedication. The principles include, "no bending, no drilling, no cutting, and, no scarring".

It was perhaps a way of making things difficult for us. However, we have been doing it ... It is such a pleasure to find "alternative best things"...

Some pages back, someone commented that "everything has changed" ... nothing has changed ... and this is amazing to see.

Another great aspect of this car is that it has brought so many friends together. Doing it, and doing it as a result of consultation have a difference. I cannot count the number of occasions when Islamabad Audio Chapter has met and discussed the Laadli plans. We discuss things threadbare, and Alhamdulillah we have been able to find solutions to every problem.

While Madhouse and I have been doing the "physical labour", I must acknowledge the help of "all the uncles" who have contributed in this thread as well as out of PakWheels. One of our dear friends on PakWheels has been helping us with sourcing equipment from abroad, and my special thanks to him.

Sir I have been following Ladli's thread since the beginning. and every time I decided to write something about the effort put in it, I used to think that here are the big daddy's of DIY who have put in sweat and blood and how would my words make any difference.

But getting to know all these bright ideas and learning everyday with the growing thread, I have realized that its unjust not to compliment such devotion.

When I first went through the thread, I thought TPMS was merely a shashka (no offense). But it was the side moldings and the skirts that took my heart. When I saw the rear garnish and the trunk lining, i thought "Hmmm......Nice". When I saw the 718s and the M845, i thought "So there is some audio inclination as well"

When I saw the Head Unit and the JBLs, i said "Oh...Its actually enthusiasm not inclination". During the rear door expansion, at 1st it came to the mind that "Kuch zyada ho gya". But with the finished product, the reaction was " Bohat AAla Ho Gya"

When the trunk upgrade started, i thought "Why would ladli need it anyway??? The Soundstreams are descent......Okaaaay!!! But whats the point??? "....And now I have come to know the point....... that forces me to say....BRAVO......BRAVO..... Love the trunk.....Love the Setup....Had issues with color but what the hey.....Stars are always brighter than the crowd. And so is Ladli... :-)

Visualizing the end product and acting in a way to achieve 100% results in accordance is a gift not many people have. With this i'll end my long debate that May you and the Ladli be safe and blessed and may the cycle of ideas and their sharing with PW...never ends.

    :-)

Bhai, let me apologize for that. I dont want to discuss it in the thread, but I was thoroughly disturbed over something. Yesterday, I spent the day totally silent in my office. My worst form of anger is when I become quiet. I saw your message but I was disturbed. I asked Brother Madhouse to visit the thread and respond to any comments and queries.

    I apologize again.

Thank you very much Khurram Bhai ...

After a fortnight of day and night work, both Madhouse and I are exhausted and need to slow down. Nevertheless, something is happening in the background.

InshaAllah, we will share the progress soon.

    Have a nice day ...

BTW ... waiting to see a thread on your new car ... and I do hope you will name her (unless you decide that your car has a different gender!!!)
