Its too bad that I carried away with this bacha system .. my real system is in another room ... and my neighbours can all tell you when that system bangs ...

This is just mummy daddy home theatre

Not really fair to compare with Laadli's system as it is not completed as yet. Once we have true 7.1, then surely Laadli's system would far excel the Sony HT.

I must say his room is awesome. (but a little messy). Sound Surround and the fun of watching PW on 32" LCD is great. His room sound system can be compared to Laadli's SS IMO.

The SS amps generate a lot of heat, and the plexiglass covered them completely ... so it was necessary to get ventilation and thicker plexi for this purpose

Little correction here .. the new plexi sheets are 6mm thick (not 4 mm)

It was important to mark the holes accurately, as last time, two of the holes were not accurate ... resulting in causing stress to the thin plexi

The original base plate had slits for ventilation. However, it is a little tricky to drill slits neatly and accurately, so we went for the option to drill 1/2 inch thich holes in the periphery of the new plexi plates

Now that was kind of an overkill from my side ...

It seems I trust very few mechanics now ... Madhouse's company has renewed my physics and chemistry knowledge from the BSc days

We are making new thicker and fancier plexi sheets for the SS amps .. what else?

I really keep praying when somebody other than Madhouse is working on something.

The difference was not due to inaccurate measurements ... it was because of the inaccurate size cutting last night.

The fault lies in the way these sheets are cut ... marks are made on the top sticker coat ... and then an L shape cutter is used to scratch onto the mark. It is done repeatedly ... and then the plates are split apart like glass. It results in uneven edges. I guess I will have to grind the plate edges to make them smooth and even

At first he was drilling at low speed of the machine ... However, it is not the best way to drill plexi sheets .. so I asked him to change the gear and increase the speed of the drill

Now you see that he is drilling the holes for the Alien Key screw .. I hope my spellings are correct

Now onto the ventilation holes ...

I asked him not to use the larger drill bit directly. I asked him to drill small holes first ... of course, he frowned upon the idea of double trouble, but I was paying him enough money, so he finally listened

excuse me? before a mod can come here and read the riot act i want to know which part of my statement was directed towards a mod and whom i was arguing with? before u read out the rules, whoever you are, you should atleast try a little to justify reading them.

first of all the first rule mentioned by autophile does not say that threads will be merged. secondly, that rule is regarding idle chit chat and posts like "lol" and "good" and "rofl" but the posts that were merged did not fit that criteria

and how can i be arguing with a mod when i dont even know who i am addressing. if pakwheels wants to ban me for that then i guess the count will remain at 13999. if u think i am acting rashly then justify the mod edit in my post and i will take back what i say. mod edit to me is a public reprimand by a mod and if not justified, amounts to public insult. i will not tolerate it just as a mod might not tolerate being held accountable for his actions in public.

This photo was taken when we reached home ... taking photos of a car's trunk at night caught the attention of a neighbour boy ... who asked us lots of questions as to why this kind of "machine" was fitted in this car, and his father's car did not have ...

I am sure his father must have heard a lot from this boy
