Sorry to keep you waiting Khurram Bhai ..

I paid Rs 8000 for the motors of side mirrors ... but I am sure I paid lot more than the actual price. Someone mentioned that it is available for 6000 in Peshawar ...

I have no idea about their availability in Lahore.. Perhaps you can check Bilal Gunj for that ...

For the Peal and Seal, I havent went to Brandeth Road.
I am thinking of insulating the car with Jumbolon.
I have seen two threads and both the users were quite satisfied.
I means it serves the purpose well but no comparison with the Dynamat and Peal and Seal.

Tayyab Bhai ... of course we are friends and like one family... so no sorry, no thanks from now

About the sound deadening, we first need to understand what we are trying to accomplish.

if you tap the body of your door with your finger knuckle, you will hear a hollow sound. Jumbolan or any other underlay type material does not work there. You need to add a layer of rubber .. whether it is dynamat, peel&seal, or just tube of a tyre. When we glue a layer together with a metal sheet, it adds to the thickness of the metal sheet. After you glue the butyl rubber to the metal sheet, and tap it with you knuckle, you will not hear a hollow sound. You will hear a deep sound.

You can use jumbolan or any similar material for taking care of vibration sound. Vibration comes from registration plates, door trims touching the inner metal sheet of the doors etc. Again, in this case, butyl rubber layer will serve the purpose,, but not the other way round i.e. jumbolan will not be useful for gluing with the outer metal sheet of the door.

I hope I have been able to explain ... otherwise, we will have to wait for Guru Ji Madhouse to come and explain

So please avoid thanks from now on

For the Peal and Seal, I havent went to Brandeth Road.
I am thinking of insulating the car with Jumbolon.
I have seen two threads and both the users were quite satisfied.
I means it serves the purpose well but no comparison with the Dynamat and Peal and Seal.

Sir, everyone is welcome in this thread. However, I hope that you will avoid the previous scene which happened couple of days. There are adequate means available for direct casual conversation with other people .. so if you want to fight or indulge in juggat baazi .. kindly use MSN or Yahoo or any other forum .. but please ... not this thread.

About what you did on Facebook, that is another matter .. and I am not going to discuss it here.

I would prefer if you discuss cars and related issues here. Yes, we are close to 5000 posts .. but we need to have a knowledge base here .. I hope you understand ... It would be worthless if there is only faltoo gup shop and nothing related to topic. This thread is very precious for me and I have requested the administration to let me handle the proceedings in the thread.

Two days ago, when you, or somebody with similar interests, came with multiple IDs .. yes, the administration banned those IDs quickly, but that ruined the discussion going on here.

You are welcome here if you want to contribute positively. I respect decision of administration in bringing you back, but my request .. please follow good discipline standards here.

Last night I left the thread and went to Bro Spitfire's thread, only to avoid any meaningless conversation here.

I hope you will understand my request.
