I did not ask for prices of the full range of the products. Chinese rims were susbtantially cheaper than those from Taiwan. The designs I checked ranged between 24 to 28 thousand 9made in Taiwan).

I bought the dB series tyres from this shop too. The shop keeper gave me stainless steel nuts, new wheel spanner and stainless steel valves free.

    Thumbs up

    Hahahaha ...

I don't like the birds which target Laadli in this way ...

But the point in question was a little tutorial for my brothers here ... it is very often for us to see droppings of birds on our cars ... the uric acid contained therein damages the paint substantially.

So the idea was conveyed in an interesting manner ... right?

Next time you see this on your car, you will remember how Laadli got rid of that ...

It is was just a lesson for everyone .. with a tinge of humour

Of course we are brothers .. baray ya chotay .. but since we are all members here ... it is best to use courtesy wherever possible

Okay I can call you Istafa as you want me to ... no issues

I have been following this "Bhai" protocol ever since I came here .. I have been addressed as "dude" and "yaar" by friends who are even younger than my kids .. :-) So, you see, addressing others as Bhai establishes a respectful relationship.

I hope you will call me Bhai, instead of Sir ... :-)

I prefer to stay 25 wherever possible ;-)

    You are right Sattar Bhai.
Par meri nazar mai chotoun k liye pyaar aur baroun k liye izzat honi chahiye. You can feel "pyar" when some elder talks to you politely, which I can see in your way of talking. I feel kind of guilty when some elder person treat me in a way he should be treated himself. That's all. I'll call you bhai, no problem with that. And I did not mention it because of your age. If you like to stay 25, thats totally good. A woman is as old as she looks, and a man is as old as he thinks. But Bhai, a man becomes naughty after forty! Even that part is good.

It is easier for cars to stay clean in Islamabad than other places due to less amount of dust. It is better to wash the car with water on daily basis. If a dusty car is cleaned with a plain cloth, it causes scratches and within no time, the paint shine of the vehicle is ruined.

As I mentioned earlier, bird droppings and animal pee should be cleaned as soon as possible.

MashaAllah, the members at PW are very decent. It is like a big family. Even though most of us have not met each other, yet the "respect" protocol is there. Probably you have seen spitfire (Rehman Bhai)'s travelogue thread. That thread moves daily ... and my most important priority in visiting that thread is that the balance of "pyar" and "respect" is there.

I had my best friendship relationship with my father. He used to say that biggest dilemma of the young generation is that they are too busy and don't have the time to sit with elders. There are so many things that we learn from books, tv, friends, school/ college/ university ... but there is no alternative to the sharing of an elder person sharing his knowledge and experience with them.

I don't mind being "naughty", but yahan PW par almost totally "mardana" mahaul hai. Sometime back, somebody posed a question about females on PakWheels, and there was an interesting answer .. "ya to wo yahan aati hi nahi, aur aaj tak jo aik do aaeen, unko bhai logon nay bhaga diya

I made a suggestion to PW seniors in Shikayat Cell thread that all members should wear a name tag when they attend PW GTGs

Women feel horrified at the idea of aging ....

.. and that makes it a BILLION dollar question .. just look at the money spent on anti-aging cosmetics ... which do nothing but stretch the skin for a few hours till you wash your face the next time
