Comments naa aana ... iss mein aap sab bhi zimaadaar hain

As far as updates are concerned, I am sure this thread has much more updates than any other thread on PakWheels.

The Entertainment system is now complete ... and I dont really have any temptation to fiddle with "performance parts" ... so I guess things have to slow down a bit.

I was trying to get hold of a top-end Garmin device, but as it turns out, the high-end products are not stocked by shops in Pakistan. I have requested brother 2C to find my requisite model at his location. I think he is working on it right now. Lets wait for news from him.

Because of too much hot environment in Saudia, we cannot sit in the car, at least we have to wait for 15 mins for the normal temperature of car. due to this I applied dark black tints on rear, so family can sit easily, and by mistake also applied dark black on front, and m waiting, when the driver side tint torn almost to 25% then remove dark tints and apply very light (its almost 10% torn now )....

here in Saudia, rear windows and screen is allowed for tinting either dark or light black, its your preference, but on front if you applies very light black tints means Traffic police can see you easily its allowed....

I am not an expert; just gathered info from here and there; PakWheels has Masha-Allah people having all kind of hobbies...About my decision for Canone EOS; I am going for it for some specific reasons (mostly video related and availability of few lenses in friends and family) and these might not apply to everyone. Normally Nikon's D5100 is better choice over competing Canon models like 550D and 600D etc

Canon is no doubt a good camera. However, I had a bad experience with an EOS in 1991. I took the camera along to extreme north of Pakistan ... and the camera probably could not cope with the extreme cold temperature and malfunctioned. After I returned to Lahore, I sold that camera and switched to a Minolta SLR (7000i) ... later on, I bought another body (another Minolta machine)

I had the same issue ... I had several Minolta lenses and my first preference was to go for Minolta so I could use the lenses with the DSLR ... but my two expert gurus decided on D5100 ..

Normally, I do research the item before purchasing, but in case of D5100. I relied on opinion of my expert friends .. short cut ... happy with the result.

Default Little DIY with tweeter pods ..

For optimum performance, it is important for the tweeters to focus accurately on the audience. There are various ways to install the tweeters, however, DrShaggy advised me to focus the front tweeters to headrest of the opposite sides.

The focal tweeters come with two types of sockets .. one for installation on the dashboard surface, and the other for installation in a hole. I had installed them on the surface, but owing to curvature of the surface of the dashboard, I could not achieve proper focus.

Therefore, it was time to focus them properly.

On 31st July, I visited Madhouse ... we went to Majid/ Yasin carpenters in Westridge ... We went without a design in the mind, and decided to do-it-on-the-spot

The Little DIY took 3 four hour sessions before completion ,, so in terms of time required, it was certainly not a "Little DIY" ...

DrShaggy has advised me to get hold of adapters for using Minolta lenses with Nikon body. I will have to do the focusing manually, and there would be issues in focusing objects at infinity, but they will work.

I stayed for a month in temperatures as low as (-)22 degrees centigrade, and that EOS could not cope with that kind of climate

First we needed to set the vertical angle of the tweeter pod ... we set the piece on driver side and checked it from the passenger seat side
