Arrow Steering issue in corolla 2010

    AOA PWers
I own a 2010 corolla GLi. Its a garage queen as they say cause in a year the car has covered only 5800kms.
Well yesterday i took it out as we were going to pindi. I noticed that the steering gives a slight 'dub' sound when turned either way.
the sound occurs twice when turned either way. And when returning to original position the sound occurs again. Its not actually a sound rather it is a slight feeling in the steering. it is not felt on road but when the car is still then i can feel it.
    the car has 225/45/R17 tires.
although it is not something big still wanted to know whether should i take the car to 3S dealer or it is not a big issue. it was not there before.
    thanks

225 is very big. the tyres touch inside. Ideal size is 195 and put spacers in your car if you want to increase ride height

no guys tyres dont touch anywhere
the steering makes a slight noise
yeah i know the tyres are big but does that mean the steering gives up only after 5800kms

if you route of driving is smooth then there is no problem at all otherwise you have to change the rims and tyres to prevent your suspension damage.

225 width tyres - man it must have the turning circle wider than planet earth, and you are killing that poor little EPS motor that lives behind your gauges.

    Stock size is 195/65/15.
IMHO 225 on a 17" rim is too much.
Apart from your EPS your suspension can be affected too.
One of the most difficult things in the world is to know how to do something, and to watch without comment, somebody else do it incorrectly.

    rofl on xulfiqar bhai's comment
man i just wanted to go crazy wid rims so did this
anyway the car sits in the garage most of the time so it really doesnt matter if the rims are oversized
this car was bought on 16 april 2010 and till now it has covered 5800kms only!

You hear this sound or feel it when the car is standing on your garage or you feel the same on the road whilst the car is standing?
Usually the floor of garage is made up of marbles or tiles and that makes noise when you turn the steering on either sides.Usually that is the cause but your tyre profile is

I have had 225/40/18 on my Altis with low rings, never had a problem as such. No issue with big tyres or rims.... and that noise its nuthing, normal it is, just due to the rims
    Kash!
