Default How to adjust corolla head lamps

I have my hid lights installed in Low beams so probably the reason is to give light on road as possible right ? But the problem i am getting , that its not throwing the light far .. I mean it needs to be little far so i could see the coming things (Gadday wagaira ) it doesnt show that much as it should. Someone told me get your headlamps adjust i think its easy i can do my self. I have corlla 2007 2.0D saloon. I opened the hood and i saw the WHITE BAR was attached to headlamps and the screw was on it. I loosen it so the thing happens is i can lift the light lil bit up and i dont feel the difference and the light became loose so i tighten again.. Now plz help me what should i do. I just want the light to go lil further so i could see upcoming stuff.. ! Thanks in advance.. i created a topic but that was useless so i hope this would be usefull.

Not sure about the 2007 model but I think that the adjusters are at the back of the headlamps.
You can acess them from the engine bay.
BTW Corolla is having quite bright headlights and even the low beam is having a very long range.
Why do you have visibility problems?
One of the most difficult things in the world is to know how to do something, and to watch without comment, somebody else do it incorrectly.

On low beams and in your standard lights that are not meant for HIDs, what you are getting is what it can offer. The range will definitely reduce and if you try to adjust the low beam of your car, the high would be moved upwards accordingly.

I would recommend you to put HIDs in high beam as low beam is what we require mostly and we should have enough visibility on the road.

p.s. take your car to any electrician at night and he'll do it for you. It's not a big thing.

bro ur car model hav best lights n awsome road visibility.... u should never go fo projector or HID's like stuff...
the thing u need is to go to a good electician at night... then ask him to adjust the low beam first a bit high n straight fo long range... then adjust the high beam at the same height or lil bit lift it up... it'll cost u Rs.100 ... n then u'll enjoy ur car head lights n forget this HID blaa.... plz try this for me n then tell me the results..

    take care
