yes its ecotec, there is no knocking, pickup is normal mean u know how the pickup of petrol gli is, so on cng it becomes a little more sluggish, but overall performance is very good and even when the pressure is extremely low in cylinder there is no effect on performance including acceleration, when u chnage to cng the sound of engine changes completely and it become more noisier a tick tick sound comes from the cng rail. car converts to cng when engine temprature reaches to normal and when the car starts to move. when the temrature is normal and u restart the car it will not change to cng unless u move and it changes after a few seconds.if anyone buys petrol one and then installs cng i ll recommend to go for ecotec instead.

truly speaking i feel very good and tension free. You will not feel that you driving with Petrol or Gas.but i felt some diff while driving Ecotec and simple CNG corolla.
The way people trust on Toyota, same i am having trust on their FF cng also.
The Best thing is it CNG Kit will automaticaly switch to petrol when Gas cylinder would be empty.
whats new liana also automatically switch to petrol when cng end
ff cng in xli will not be of that much success coz in after market cng 1st push of accelator convert car to cng (less use of petrol)
while in ff cng it will convert after the specific time n reaching optimum temprature ultimatly high petrol expense (which is not cost beneficial for local taxi or rent business) so they will never go for that
as in liana when u start up the car in morning it take some time to convert to cng
while all honda having after market convert in a single second after starting
so this could also be a reason

Dear Petrol consumption is same but on CNG its covering more than 140 KM.
The main thing i feel that FF CNG is reliable than other. You wont feel any fear it will give any problem on road or in future.
You just feel like you are driving on petrol.

Got one GLI ECOTEC in medium silver delivered last week....got seat covers....navigation...cam installed....so far drive is pretty good on CNG and very smooth indeed...
Second car delivery delayed as Indus motor called up and said that the silver colour is discontinued so we selected the golden beige as an alternative. Will post up pictures.

Well I drove its first 1000 KM on petrol & it gave me 14.5 KM/L on local within ISB with speed of 70-80 KM/H normally. (Without AC)

And I drove it for Motorway from ISB to Faisalabad and it gave me 18.6 KM/L with the speed of 90-100 KM/H all the way.(Occasionally AC ON)

On CNG it Gave 190 Km in one cylinder, with mostly on Highways about 15-20 Km of this was on local, some stops & restarts. With average speed of 90-100 KM/H.
On Motorway I guess If it is driven non-stop or on highways non-stop it will give 200 +

As far as pick & acceleration is concerned their is no difference its as good as on petrol as per my experience.

No I am using within ISB and will let u know how much it did in on cylinder within ISB.

in my opinion wheter it is FFitted /outsiders fitted , it depends on settings how well they install
i have personally installed cng in various cars from outside not FF & also drive lots of F/F cng infact drove XLI/GLI with F/F cng too, no difference if it i sproperly installed

actually unfortunately on every streets who can fit cng kit claims to be cng expert but infact they do mess with cng stuffs ,due to which cng gives problem

due to such non technical mecahnics, people think that cng is not good, cng is fault bla bla bla

please try to understand it is just fuel type, not rocket science only required good installation

even before 20 years, before use of cng in pakistan, what there was no problem in petrol cars at that time? any bad mantainance , poorly installation etc. etc. caus eproblem,

so not to blaim for cng itself, it is fault of those who misconfigure it.

one of our clients opted for 1.6 auto and spent further 30k on cng.. they r happy over it...
people who use Highbeams.. once day would suffer too bigtime. People who drive slow on fast lanes, remember one day a vehicle carryin ur son, dad might get late to hospital coz people like u. underaged driving will land u in bigtime trouble one day or the other.. And the Blue indication light on ur speedometer denotes "High Beams"

    no it is not lambda
it is sequential injection system also known as SIS kit with spark advance controlled by a 16 bit ecu hence no hassle of advancers/emulators etc

Ok.... so, can we get this similar SIS KIT from the local market and if yes, what the pricee and any difference from FF (FF CNG is 125,000/- expensive)

does GLI ECOTEC have any other difference from 1.3 GLI normal (petrol) ??

yes you can get it from market, its about 85 to 90k but the thing is that ecotec is coming with a special redesigned head for cng which u ll not get in normal gli besides the ecu control of both petrol n cng, in normal gli ecu will control petrol only and for cng you will need to fool the ecu that car is on petrol by using emulator and also u ll need to advance the timings using advancer ,in ecotec a 16 bit standalone ecu will take care of all these issues
so ecotec is expensive but worth it
ur warranty will remain intact if u go for ecotec which in case of normal gli get void if u install cng
Forgot to mention the reinforced rear shocks in ecotec for cng cylinder

Many thannks for the CLEAR CUT comparasion for ecotec gli and normal gli

apart from engine difference in GLI 1.3 AND GLI 1.6, is there any other INTERIOR difference like keyless, cd player etc etc b/w the two

Then how about if someone installs CNG from local market in GLI AUTO 1.6 AND ALTIS(especially manual)

    is that advisable
