Post corolla 2011 discontinued in silver colour

    salam brothers,
nowadays I am looking for a zero meter altis fully loaded version on premium as its booking time has gone to january.

some of the showrooms on jail road including toyota jail road told that silver has been discontinued in the new shape.

however those showroom who have silver colour ready in stock deny this fact and say that silver colour will be resumed in a short while.

i hope this is helpful for any potential buyers of corolla in silver colour.

please advice should i drop my silver colour option because i dont want to buy anything that is discontinued shortly or else i would have gone for civic (same problem; uncertain time for new launch).

This rumor has been out since long. I was offered a silver one as on-the-spot delivery at 50K premium only, at the time this version was released, back in early June. I passed the offer for 2 reasons, yet mainly because this discontinuation rumor was out, second reason being that I wanted a black, so hence, I booked one and got it delivered in August.

Now this rumor is out again, and I cannot believe so many showrooms reporting wrong......... time will prove. The color by itself is excellent, I do not understand why they'd discontinue it, perhaps deeming that 1 shade in silver is enough, the medium silver.

Those showrooms that have one in stock course cannot confirm such changes to be made.

I'd say, if you like the color, and can get a reduced premium offer, hence 50%, there may be some weight towards taking it. If it's absolutely "no, no" to silver, or they demand full premium, better pass on it.

I guess anything which is related to colors abt corolla is false.. I believe the colors which are currently being offered by Indus in their corolla won't get discontinued.
When the facelift corolla was going to be launched, Indus mentioned that Classic Silver and Shimmering Green colors will be discontinued in facelift models and new colors will be launched in Altis variant but guess what? both of the sayings were false.. new facelift is available in silver as well as in s.green color and no new color has been launched by Indus...
I was eager to see corolla in purplish type color but they didn't launched it

    Thanks, you're welcome!

Well, I believe premium is a variable thing and kind of color dependent, to some extent. I wouldn't be surprised to see a dealer asking for 50-100K premium only, if his lot for a showroom piece from Indus landed by him in Olive green!

Similarly, if premium is hovering around 180K's, I suppose, it's the gun metallic color that makes the Walton dealer demand 110K's only, coz, though being a fine color, else-wise, it still has a limited force of attraction to some people.

What color are you looking for?
