    Let me rephrase. Tripping is not happening at the right time causing ice build up which restricts air flow. Cannot be the blower itself.

    Untrue. Dust comes in even without using fresh air. mostly from mats and u open wndow once or twice at least at the time of paying toll or something similiar. Using fresh air vent clogs the core earlier for sure but that does not mean that only cabin dust cannot clog it.

    How to diagnose this problem and what is the solution? Btw sent the car to garden motors for check up, they checked everything and ruled that there is nothing wrong with the Ac or anything else. I guess they will not be able to diagnose anything unless something big happens.

    Need a thermometer toc heck at what temperature it is tripping Preferably this should be checked while moving in same circumstances where you feel reduced air flow. Is the system correctly charged with gas? Overcharging possibility?

    Nothing like overcharging. No ac work has been done ever till now.

    Same circumstances are hard to replicate as it occured after 5 hrs of driving on motorway and normal roads....

    Everything was checked today had gas been less wouldn't have they noticed? Core icing would be solved by maintaining optimum gas level?

    If you feel that AC is working fine for now then better to check in same situations on a long run. Diagnosing such remote occurances wont be easy.

    @Xulfiqar

    Well said! Sorry its an old reply, but I am coming up to my 40K on 8 gen civic, and wondering what must be changed? does the automatic gear box fluid needs to be changed? I a e60 530D BMW I had a couple of years, I was informed the gear box is sealed for life and fluid does not need to be changed for life!! how come hondas want to change it so often? A money making scheme or real need?

    Most bits n pieces are downright crazy - the automatic belt tensioner and belt itself are very heavy duty and usually work well till 250,000 kms. your tranny fluid is good for the initial 100,000 kms - the PS fluid was a yearly routine for hydraulic one - no longer needed as new are EPS. The fuel filter O ring is Rs 360/- is it packed with a few packs of cigarettes or does it come delivered to you by a bikini wearing model? A regular fuel resistant O ring for the fuel filter costs Rs 20 in retail, and Rs 11 in case and even cheaper in bulk.

    The 50,000 miles checklist of a toyota corolla anywhere in the world does not entail replacing so many parts.

    I am all about preventive maintenance but this list seems to me that the only thing remaining was to replace the bulbs because they will burn out soon. Literally downright crazy.

    Comparing German engineering with Jappy hehe. Noticed some Mercs have the steering more towards the dashboard and the pedals more tilted to the right? It's there, for an unknown reason lol.
    Turbo lag is like foreplay. You know it's coming. And it's gonna be good.
