nothing is good enough, a robber can get straight in by breaking the glass and hotwiring the ignition. steel mate is just one of the best things you can do as part of prevention on your part

A friend recommended me to a person who does this security systems in cars for more than 30 years
he said none of his customer ever reported a car being stolen
he was like in case of an alarm, fuel is cut off, and kafi aur cheezon ka naam le lia tha that get cut off
also he said his security system can b used against snatching event and not just locked by a remote when we park a car..

every steelmate system has that option, i think its activated by pressing the lock button twice. it lets the car run for around ten seconds and then cuts off the fuel, thats nothing fancy. though if this guy is experienced you have the assurance that the security system works properly, what local fitters do is that they cut the parts that they cant wire and people never realize that their system could have worked better had it been wired properly

    Go for Kayes security system.
These Steelmates and Plcs can easily be disconnected by taking out the fuse or removing the wires whereas Kayes requires some time to be bypassed.

I asked the person for details and.here is the reply
    System briefing:
At system arming through remote or in gun point robbery, the petrol, self, ignition, fuel-pump, cdi, efi, fuel valve are automatically disabled. One can not start by any hot wire connection. In addition to it the system can not be disabled by cutting any or all of its wires. In all such cases vehicle is completely immobilised. And on contrary all systems (whatever) available in market can be bypassed by cutting , just a single wire and can also be started by hot wire connection.
    Regards

Immobiliser install krwa lo ya insurance krwa lo..... Steel-mate & other such security product are justtttt useless & a waste of money infront of modern & highly qualified thieves.

yesterday i took out my car's trakker in less than 90 secs.. and it was my first time...

whenever u r going out make sure the car is always in ur eye contact.. secondly make sure its difficult for anyone tryin to start the car.. next try not to have too many drivers using that car.. the less number of people driving the more secure it might be...

have some prominent indication of ur car.. let it be rims.. some stickers or anything that might be easy for anyone to identify ur car...
people who use Highbeams.. once day would suffer too bigtime. People who drive slow on fast lanes, remember one day a vehicle carryin ur son, dad might get late to hospital coz people like u. underaged driving will land u in bigtime trouble one day or the other.. And the Blue indication light on ur speedometer denotes "High Beams"

Immobilizer is a good option against primitive car jackers. But to be honest, you should keep in mind that if a modern thief meets your car, all these devices will be useless !
In my honest opinion bro, no use of stressing much on these fancy security devices. Heard of Hassan ? the biggest car thief of Pak succeeded in stealing land cruisers loaded with all these fancy devices.

The security systems can be easily disabled. Also now days the tracker things arent new to the thieves.Instead all of this use a tri circle key lock in the cross of the steering.Thats much safer.Or buy a clutch brake lock.Ive heard its available from traffic police lines.
