Smile Altis now with navigation system

Today Indus Motor Co. arranged training for their upcoming new Navigation system.
This navigation system is planned to install in all ALTIS vehicles delivered from first week of March 2012 & onward. The best thing in this news is that this navigation is offered in all ALTIS models without any additional cost and offered to all existing and new bookings from March 2012 till any further change
Officially announcement will be expected in next Sunday newspaper.
According to source that this navigation is imported from Toyota Thailand and is the same offered by Toyota Thailand in their vehicles. Pakistan maps and software is loaded by C-Track. They also announce that this navigation is not being sold in market and also not offered to old ALTIS or any other vehicle.
I am trying to grab its manual and other info. If I got then I will upload. But for your info that this is really a better quality system and far better than the available navigation system range in market.

(Although the source of info is very reliable but i am not hold responsible for anything)

I am sure this car will not disappoint you. Although built quality of all local made cars are pathetic.

Rizwan bhai, how much care you took of ur car for the first 5000kms.. do u think caring for the first 5000km pay back in the future..

Are u a soft drive or do u paddle a lot..

Now, since you have gone through the inital period, what are your fuel average in city driving ? (am more concerned about city driving)

Levin once said that taking care of the car during its initial 5000 kms will pay you well throughout. I bet it's just the way people say whatever your eating habits in the earlier years are, they reflect after the age of thirty five. At least in my elder brother's case it's come so true! BANG at 35!

Not any special care. Keep in mind that its your own car Avoid unnecessary acceleration will help you saving some money in terms of fuel. Keep your filter clean and also clean or wash your cabin air filter every 2/3 thousand kilometers will keep your cabin clean.

Last year in August i bought a new Gli
When i go for first free check up after driving 1000 km
During check up we found there was no Cabin Air filter behind the glove box...
I do all the official work like comlaints
But in the end i had to purchase it from market
So whenever you purchase a car plz check all the things like this
As i do now on the delivery day of my new Altis...

it will surely be funny to hear the navigator speak out the road names in Korangi and Landhi areas of Karachi or even roads in old Karachi. Karachi style (complete with gaaliyan)

It will be interesting to hear the "kooh" addresses of panjab areas through that - specially in a rolled up accent with a hint of panjab - lol.

Rizwan Bh did it again, breaking the news! Sorry for joining late, just come across with this thread

Cool; that Indu$ is introducing features "slowly" and increasing prices "fastly" It would have been much cooler if they had introduced Immobilizer or Passenger Side SRS instead

BTW What's the delivery time of Altis these days? Say if someone book it early next month? Prices have increased insanely

It will only work once you have pulled up your hand brake i.e. the car is in stationary position.
