    Salam Everybdy!
I was wondering if it is possible to fit in the Electronic Digital climate control panel in a locally made corolla 2009/10. is there anything required in addition to this panel to make it work ? or .. wud it be sufficient ?

I always wanted to have this in my corolla 10 but I think we need to add some more items beside just this panel, some modifications at the back end are inevitable I guess

climate control wont work without sensors so forget it and secondly only audio connection wont be an issue for experienced audio guy. as all companies and decks manufacturers follow same wire colors for same purpose.

U have to check this system of a car which has it originaly or try your luck at this website to know the parts requirement. Model code for this corolla is NZE140

    www.toyodiy.com

Click on parts reference and then model year or search through complete vin code.

for this to function, you need a cabin temperature sensor (its behind the little grille that you have on the lower dash panel by your knees, behind that should be an airhorn that connects to either a pipe that goes to the suction side of the blower assy or have its own dedicated motor.

Next you need an outside temperature sensor and also input from the ECU for engine temperature (to make the heater valve function and regulate blower speed only when the engine gets hot).

Its not exactly DIY as the Pak made corollas lack all these sensors. There is only a bellows sensor on the evaporator coil of the A/C to control the compressor.

yes you may e able to get it working but the hassle was too ig for me to handle as project cruisematec was in full swing. i had one for the 8th civic which i had taken off from a civic hybrid. i had the interior air humidity sensor but not the other 3 sensors. so sold one off. at times i think that as i now have nothing to do i shuldve started working on it if i had it. nontheless as brother xulfiqar has mentioned u will need to incorporate a 3-4 sensors n the wiring associated to it. its a mammoth task to undergo but if ur hellbound to do it like i was for the cruise control then nothing is too big to conquer. go ahead n give it a try!its great fun n sense of achievement being able to do something which seems impossible to the majority yet you pull it together!! google around u might find the wiring layout n schematics. try to source out the parts from abroad or strip em off imported vehicles if any available.

it also requires Electronics Climate Control (ECC) Compressor which is way different than ordinary magnetic clutch compressor
