Assalam-O-Aliekum...dont cut the springs because if you will cutt them its strength will decrease and after some time they will be of no use and if you will put 13 rims then I think the gap will increase between body and tyres and your car will look extremely cheap, basically you want to minimize the gap between tyres and body?...best option is lowered springs otherwise I am not sure but I think if change your tyres profile i.e. 195/65/15 to 195/75/15 then also your car will get lowered or shift to 16"....Recently my neighbour has changed rims on his Accord cd3 (14 t" to 17") and Integra(13" to 17") lenso both the cars looks extremely great and lowered without any modification.

Well thanks Hassan, Currently im using 195-65-15, if i use 195-55-15 the car wil be lower upto 1.5". the only solution in my mind with out any modification or alteration is to change tyre profile, but low profile makes ride stiffer up to some extent.

Welcome and sorry I mistyped 195/75/15 and yes low profile tyres are not recommended for pakistani roads and also they are heavier for suspension as I am also planning to shift from 14 to 15 or 16" with lowprofile tyres but the known tyre dealers are not recommending me to do so.

    Jazak Allah.

What do you want to achieve by lowering the car? are you aiming for brake improvement and handling ?

if that is the case then putting lower profile tires or small tires will not help.

only solution is get max speed lowering springs they will cost you 10k thats it.

yes but if i put 195-55-15 instead of 195-65-15 then ride wil lower 1.5", its solution without disturbing its stock condition.

it will lower the overall height but the centre of gravity will remain the same hence no brake or handling difference

Waseef, listen to qwertypoiu. He's right.

Also, please note one thing. There is NO SUCH THING as a PERFECT SOLUTION.

If you lower tyre profile, your ride will become bumpy on Paki roads. A higher profile will lead to a more cushioned drive.
Similarly, lowering springs will also make your ride stiffer.

If u want my advise, NEVER cut your springs, it is a VERY stupid thing to do.
In my opinion, you should get lowering springs. And a better set of wheels. You are currently on Goodyear tyres from what I can see in the picture, and they are known to be hard.

Good things don't come cheap, get a nice set of wheels OR lowering springs.
    Both are good investments.
