Do you feel any sound from steering while turning it to right and then extreme left, try to observe any sound. As the sound which u r telling seems to be of steering rather than suspension.

The noise which u r telling normally comes when steering shaft has worn out. Push the car upside down from both the fenders. Observe the movement behaviour and noise if any.

a car done 50k should not be having suspension issues unless driven on rent or by wild kids

@poster, dude, u are using ROCK HARD rotational tyres. this ghud ghud is due to them. Switch to yokohama advan dB, Michlein, or any other comfy tire to resolve this issue.

SP sport 9000 are the worst tires on earth in terms of comfort. Even the crap eurostars are softer.

U can also go for dunlop le mans lm702/703.

Do not let anyone touch ur car's suspensions system. Its perfect.

    Naa yar RoBM,

Even the snow season hard tyres would not make that sound.

@ poster, are you first owner of this car? as at this mileage, there should be no noise with normal driving.

yes raza sb. I myself have had a v.v bad experience with them, two times in a row. they get rock hard after 15k kms.

Dukaan wala bht roya k bhai mat lagao ye tire, gaddi kharrak jaye gi, but I insisted due to the 'burfi' tread design.

And the result was the same. A loud thud on every pebble that came under the tire.

@raza1 thanx and yes i m first owner of the car

@AZEEMMAJEED i hv seen ur altis on pakwheels forums mashALLAH nicely done..........i don't think so that 1.3,1.8 and 2.0D have any affect on suspension as body weight and dimensions are same.

no bro. thats nothing to worry about. an engine does not necessarily weigh more just cz its got more torque or its 500cc greater in capacity.

Suspension depends upon the body framework, not on the engine. In the twoo dee version, indus is using a bit hard springs in the shocks just to withstand the weight of the 2c engine, which really weighs alot more than the 2nzfe or the 1zz/zr fe.

Replacing the shocks with premio ones is, IMHO, just a psychotic satisfaction because one feels k "shock japani hain".

Its not feasible at all to open up the whole suspension of ur car when its in perfect nick bro.

bro, if the ball joints have worn out (assuming u meant the ones in the chimtaas) they will not produce sounds only with significant jumps, and that too a sound of 'ghud ghud'. They will produce noise even if u are driving on motorway.

They produce small cut cut sounds when worn out. And they aren't that weak to go off or die completely in a car driven 45k kms.

as the OP posted it, its very clear that something rock hard, not willing to compensate for the jerks is present in between road and the car.

ball joints can't cause ghud ghud sound in any way.

    Thats how I said that.
