Default Corolla 99 sitting very high on new shocks

    asalamo alakum. hope every1s fine!

ok i have a 1999 indus corolla GL. i replaced all its 4 shocks about a month ago. just before ramzan started. its offering smooth ride as it should but the car sits really high and therefor its body rolls a lot when turning normal cornors and also rocks side to side on motorway at high speed specially in cross winds. i have included pics for you to see its height. i could install a bit tall tires on the 14'' rim to fill the gap but i dont think it will work and will just make the car go even higher. current size is 175/70/14.

i will be spending money soon on the car interior/exterior. i will also be swapping a 7afe into it and keeping it on cng.

now in light of the above information, what can i do to remedy this height problem? are there any other type/brand of shocks which will allow the car to sit a bit low while still retaining its smoothness?

Almost everyone in Pakistan is doing corruption to the extent they can. Our leaders are doing at the level they can do. So why should we complain?

no these arnt corolla original. they said these are from the toyota corona. on the front 2, they even had to make a tiny modification in the placement of one of the nut holes. the original hole was a bit higher so it was welded shut and another drilled in it.

these are from corona as for which corona...i dnt know. and there are no spacers anywhere. i live in hayatabad with good roads and the roads to and from my village are good too.

bhai mark my words, always use new shock absorbers from a reputed Toyota Spare Parts Dealership, used, kabli, repaired, etc. etc. shock will only waist your money and nothing else.

the mekhanic recommended corona ones. i should have asked as to why not just install new ones of toyota? owell whats done is done now

next time iwill get the original ones of this car.

as for the stiffness...well the care rides very smooth. it might be even more smoother in the original corolla ones but i dont know about that since i havent taken a ride in car with those.
