    Lightbulb corolla 1980 to 1982....is it worth buyin n restoring ?

    Aoa Pakwheelers !need an advice frm fellow experts ...i wanted to buy a car perfrbly n old one ....then to restore it ....much to stock condition .....but engine cn b swapped fr better fuel economythe car will be used for daily goin n coming back frm work ....also im new to these restoration n engine swaps ....plz guide me so first tell me if the choice mentioned in title is gud enuff to spend money or shud i go fr some other car ...... my budget fr buyin a car initially wud b 2 lacsfurther amount will depend on how much i wud like to spend on the said car !!!thnx

    If the unibody is straight and not rusted to hell (which it usually is) then it can be restored with a lot of money as body parts and accessories for this car are a bit expensive now.

    Can you explain what restoration are we talking about? do you want to make it as original as possible or just want to slap an engine, redo the suspension and go sliding.

    pretty much to the stock ...except engine which cn b installed wid few alterations n cutting

    find a car that has minimum of rust and patchwork - redo the whole car and when you plan to install a 4AGE 20V in there, buy a disto relocation kit rather than cutting sheetmetal from the firewall.
