Sir g I use ZIC A in my car and ZIC 4T in my 70 and never had a problem. I buy from an authorised dealer and I'm a satisfied customer.

i dont know which Zic ur talking about, maybe u used a lesser grading oil which is thin and less dense...other than that...Zic quality is excellent as long as original is provide..and fake zic oil is also there in market...If u want to be sure about the quality of engine oil. It is a good idea to get it from Metro or Hyperstar

I am using zic a 10w/40 oil in my 07 cultus and no problems at all.Thinner oil is better then thick as it moves in the oil capillaries quickly.
U need not to worry at all.

@OP...your post gives the impression that you purchase your engine oil in the following fashion:

At evening time you drive all the way to tel walay ki dukaan...and roll down your window and say:
"3 kilo ZIC de do bhai"
    or
    "4 kilo Shell de do"..
    or
    "3 kilo caltex de do"
"achi quality wala tel dena meray bhai"
    .......................
    ...
    ...

    (am i wrong ??)

i mean why not ask for the vehicle's manufacturer's recommended oil GRADE & VISCOSITY ?? Why put all the emphasis on BRAND of oil ?? Every brand comes up with the whole range of oil grades.
