    Default Corolla Xli maximum carry able weight?!!!!

    We are 6 friends have planned a trip to murree and kashmir.
    I just want to know about the maximum weight that can be legally carry able in corolla xli?
    Please help me.

    Risky dont put your life in risk. you can accommodate 6 persons in Lahore but in hilly area its not advisable.

    max. 5 people. Because xli suspension is very soft and it touches ground on small lumps etc etc.
    The best car safety device is a rear-view mirror with a cop in it.

    On the car documents it's written
    Maximum seating capacity : 4
    6 persons is not advisable in hilly terrain . Will be uncomfortable too .

    it will make problem in braking while downclimbing. and xli me to ABS bhi nahi hai, it will be risky!!!

    Brother Xli aur Gli mein brakes ka koi farq nahi hai both will stop at same distance ABS kabhi stop distance kam nahi karta.

    Its not safe to overload any vehicle whether its a car or truck it will negatively effect the braking suspension and engine and could also result in accident.

    I think the max weight of new corolla is less than 1600Kg which means if we minus the vehicles own weight of around 1100 kg for Xli it will have around 500 Kg.

    but still u need to apply brakes on turns. using downhill gears while 6 people on board, it will damage the engine more.

    Thanks guys for kindful advices.
    I had an awesome trip to murree, nathiagali, neelam valley, khanaspur with my 5 friends.
    It didnt give any problem during journey except for minor skids due to company fittes tires.
