they are planning Etios, 1100cc They have to sell that or atleast create the artificial competition (i.e Denizen and Levis) Im not saying that they would leave the 1.3 market, But their are chances, the 1.6 if avalible manual would be only 55k more pricier then the 1.3L Corolla,
You can do the maths, AT tranny in Altis is 90k, If you remove 90k from the price of the 1.6 Gli AT you get 55k more then the GLI 1.3
PS: I just checked the Toyota website, The difference between 1.3 Gli Manual and 1.6 AT is only 60k, So if their is a 1.6 manual GLI is should be 90k cheaper like altis manual and AT has a difference of 90k, So its pretty much workable and both the cars are equally fuel effiecicent 1600cc is probably the least engine that body requires, 1300cc Corolla is pretty sluggish on overtaking on highways
