    Confirms BBH-057 (without rims and foglights) is a lower end model either the 1.6 or the 1.3L Gli / Altis (and maybe as Bhai sahab said XLI AT),

    and The BBH-038 is the Altis (with Rims and sunroof)
    Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

    One question, it is kinda related to this thread;

    How comes some CVT's have 5,6,7&8 gears if CVT is like infinite gear ratios?
    Or is it like that the belts have stops, just the same way DSLR aperture, F stops?
    Thanks

    Yep. The pedal shifters behind the steering wheel, I always use the flappy pedal phrase. Because it's always used by my favorite automobile reviewer, Jeremy Clarkson.

    The number of gear 5,6,7 & 8 refers to the steps on the pedals. If you let the cvt drive on its own then the gear ratios are infinite. The pedal shifters in corollas case have seven preset belt and pulley positions which a driver can manipulate to simulate a conventional tranny driving experience.

    Well an audi is a totally different thing salik. Can't compare its build quality to a corolla. The metal alloys used in the construction of an audis tranny will be quite different from that of a corolla.
    But yes an audi with a cvt tranny will need an early overhaul of the transmission as compared to an audi with a conventional auto or manual transmission.
    I have a pkdm with manual tranny and a jdm with cvt. The pkdm's tranny is still going good at 144k kms while the jdm needed an overhaul at 100k.

    New Corolla launch by Toyota Indus Motors -1393443
    Here are the features of the top of the line ALTIS. Seems, that it's more advanced then the Civic. But it's gonna be expensive, but still there's no immobilizer, which means this car is prone to theft. Now this can confirm that the car thefts is a paid job by IMC. The G-BOOK is the telematics service, which was only exclusive to Japan, but now it's available in Pakistan.

    And because this car are coming with CVT transmission for a better fuel economy, CNG is NOT recommended

    I think that rolla thefts give impacts on better parts availability, one can seriously get genuine spare parts from a ustaad, which is probably the reason why IMC is neither introducing immobilizer on rolla.

    And mostly cars with tracker installed are more prone to theft as well. As tracker companies are also behind the Rolla thefts.
