    Default 3k Engine 1973 Corolla SL, engine goes down in stop traffic position

    Assalamoalaikum,
    Presently I have 1973 Corolla coupe SL - ke25 with its own original 3k engine and electronic fuel pump. Rght now facing an issue that when I got stuck in heavy traffic for long time ... its engine goes off and again start after 5minutes. So what willbe the issue in it?? And how i can overcome it??

    heating issue ... how long has this been happening..... did you get any recent overhaul?

    i think the electronic fuel pump heats up nd stops working...try pouring some water on the fuel pump when this happens...if it starts up immediately tow u need to change the placement of the fuel pump...some place where it does not get direct blow from the radiator fan...if it still doesnt solve the problem then buy a mitsubishi fuel pump from bilal ganj or the fuel pump used in Suzuki Every...hope this solves it
