Default Need Help Using Cruisetronic of Altis 1.8SR (HELP ASAP)

    Assalam o alikum brothers,

i had 2011 Corolla Gli, but recently i shifted to Corolla Altis 1.8Sr Cruisetronic

    now my question is that

how to use the cruise control...

i maintained 100 kmp/h and then pressed the cruise control button

the meter showed the icon (green color icon)

as soon as i remove my foot from the pedal, nothing happens,

now i am very worried that whats wrong with my ride??

its 2010 model 1.8 Sr Cruise tronic

Cng is also installed in the car,,,

one thing that pops up in my mind is that i think that cruise wont work with cng or i m wrong

    waiting for replies

    Regards

Default Need Help Using Cruisetronic of Altis 1.8SR (HELP ASAP)

    It sets in two steps

    1. Press the on off button. You will see the green round icon in the cluster. Now the system is armed/hot.

    2. At the desired speed push the cruse control stalk down you will see SET icon next to the first icon and the car will maintain that speedy itself. Now the CC is engaged/ set.

The stalk can be pushed up or down to increase or decrease the speed at the fractions of 2km/hr pull the stalk to disengage after disengaging push it up once to resume the last set speed. The CC works in speed above 40km/hr.

Please use the user manual for any such operation informations. This manual must be part of vehicle always.

You have to once press the button( the one on the right side) to engage the cruise control and the icon will appear on the meter..
Now you have to set the speed lets say you want the Cruise control to set at the speed of 120km/hr.. you will have to accelerate to 120km/hr manually and then pull the lever down once and you are good to go.. and if you apply the brakes then you will have to pull the lever up once to again go to 120km/hr.. if you pull the lever towards yourself then it will cancel the assigned speed which was 120km/hr..

^ , minimum speed is 40 kmph to activate cruise , and you have to run the car to check it , you cant check it when car is idle .
