Unhappy Corolla 2010 (XLi) rear defogger not working

Hey everyone. Rear defogger on my 2010 Corolla won't work. I took it to the workshop and they checked: 1) Fuse under the hood; 2) Earth and 3) Current flow to the actual defogger. They said it should be working fine as its getting current. Any ideas what could be wrong?

if you have or had tints on the back screen then i believe the heating lines on the rare window have broken.

Thanks for you reply. Its never been tinted and I have physically examined the whole grid. No broken lines.

Where is the rear defogger located anyway? In the glass itself or?
Turbo lag is like foreplay. You know it's coming. And it's gonna be good.

the line grid on the glass is actually the defogger. It works as a heater element and warms up the glass to clear out the fog on the inside.
You can feel it from the inside.

The tint removal also destroys the lines and defogger is gone...

Has anyone recovered the defogger? A good DIY would be appreciated...

Internationally Defogger fixing kits are available but I haven't seen any in Pakistan. But there is no practical fixing as per my knowledge.

Actually try checking the fuses and then check for voltage at defogger pins and after that suspect breakage in continuity in grid
