Sir I have been using altos 1.8 I have done nearly 187000 km running all you have to do is to remove catalytic and use iridium plugs and notice the difference
I never rode in an automobile until I was 12.

I have a manual 2006 Altis and in the city I get around 11.5km/l and on highways around 14.5km/l. These figures are all with AC turned on (honestly speaking I really dont see any difference in with or without ac)

I had altis 07 too. The car is really economical, it used to give me 10.5km/ltr with ac in city, sometimes the foot was hard on paddle too.
It can easily give 14km or on highways.

Now i have civic reborn and its very heavy on petrol. It wa giving me 6.5-7km/ltr max, since i installed high end iridium plugs of autolite the average increased.

No Altis ever beat my 2010 City yet let alone the reborn.

Had 2008 Altis sports auto white color (it was a limited edition) 0 meter it returned 9 km in KHI city and 13-15 km/l on highway it was truly excellent on highway. Installed CNG 2 year later (lambda CNG) and it gives 120 km in city and 160 on highway with 55kg faber cylinder it had excellent drive.

Never removed CAT just used 50:50 HOBC and drained oil at every 6,000KM on time used TMO genuine oil in tin pack 3.7L.

Stolen from Okara in September 2011 at Juma prayers never found.
