    Default Is this normal in Corolla Gli???

    @syncview , @SER_GTR

    I recently noticed that even though the heater is off, I can still feel little bit of warm air coming out of the air ducts, I can feel it especially from the right side duct on the driver seat dashboard near the door. I noticed the air comes out only when the temp knob is on the red/warm setting and the warm air is a bit more when the car is running on the road and less when it's stationary.

    So is this normal or something might be faulty???

    Thanks in advance!

    This would be normal if ventilation is on and temperature knob is at red

    Google it. Or look it up on your car's user manual.
    Whatever you described is exactly how ANY car's ducts would behave if the ventilation is on - as another member also rightly pointed out.

    if you turn this button off it will take in air from the surrounding/outside along with the air in the car.. to keep the air fresh..

    when on the vent closes and the air inside the car is recirculated.
    the problem is not our govt... its the people..

    The one on the far left is to throw air on your front windscreen and side windows in case of fog etc.

    The rectangular windscreen (middle) is to turn on your defroster in case of fog on rear windscreen. Those small black lines are the defroster wires. You can find more info in the Manual of your car
    Turbo lag is like foreplay. You know it's coming. And it's gonna be good.

    my freind called it the "**** refresh button" - he would stink up the car and then force the fresh air vent to "destink" the car. - Usually he was the freind who gets beat up all the time.
