Thread: Corolla X automatic .. Havoline 10W30 oil

    Default Corolla X automatic .. Havoline 10W30 oil

    Hello.... I have Corolla X Model 2003 ... 1500cc ... engines is 1NZ-FE .... total KM run 135000 ... with automatic transmission. I have bought this car when it was ran 129000 KM ... and I don't know about history of which oil was used and when it was usually changed ... so twice time oil is changed recent was 5 days ago .... Do I need change oil in least kilometers(if yes how much) and
    So I am using Havoline Engine Oil 10W-30 cost Rs.2121 with Leepon oil filter Rs.200 ... and I am changing it after 3500Km ... And my engine needs flush? or other kind of any service ? please suggest and help me about this regard because my engine is good at this condition and good performance giving on long drive and pick speed is awesome and reaches 170Km/h easily in overdrive and w/o overdrive pick is also good. Mostly I am in quetta where weather is dry and cold nowadays and in summers it is hot also.... so please help in this regard... thankss

    Double check that, its 3.7ltr with oil filter change as per user manual.

    Since you don't know its maintenance history then yes I'd recommend changing.

    Well you are right its 3.7... not 3.25 ....

    Note sure about the quantity, wait for others to reply on that. As far as plugs are concerned, I think their change period is 100k km if the car has Denso FK20HR11 plugs which are OEM for 1NZ-FE. Again, if the car is still running its old OEM plugs that came from factory then it needs replacing. As far as checking if they're in good condition or not then I am not the best person to answer that query. Post a picture of em and someone will reply back

    just for your reference, if you know what engine flush is and how does it work, then note that its viscosity is 0/20.

    PKDM's don't have 1NZ-FE, they've 2NZ-FE.

    @Xulfiqar PW's friends helped me regarding recommended engine oil, but still queries remaining about tune up of engine history description is in the first post of this thread and Can u please help me in this regard.

    You can use the mentioned 10w 30 oil, use original toyota oil filter if possible otherwise leppon is not recommended, use guard instead. change between 4 to 5k kilometers
