Question Corolla Altis 2006 Windshield Replacment or Buffing

    Hi,

I bought Corolla Altis 2006 vvti 1.8 earlier this month, it is in wonderful condition and I am Enjoying it. However it's windscreen had its toll in all these years. At night the light disperses and forms large diagonal lines (not completely circular or star), I am thinking about getting it buffed or replaced.

    1) Is buffing effective and safe? where can I get it done? and what estimated expense? (screen + labour)?

    2) Will I be able to find genuine 2006 windshield? Where can I get it? What is estimated cost (new screen + labour)?

I had similar problem with my lancer. Got it buffed and difference was huge. I suggest you try it as replacement is expensive and be ready for leaks. Buffing will costs 500-1000
