    Default Corolla Missing on Low fuel

    My corolla 2006 start missing especially when e fuel light turns on..It starts missing for few Kms and then its normal again and then it starts missing again.



    When I fill up, the missing goes and occasionally, very rarely it misses when i fill up...



    Plugs are new, throttle body is clean...Can?t figure out the problem.. any guesses?

    may be low fuel is the issue?

    Dirt accumulates at the bottom of your tank.
    When fuel is low, maybe some crap is being sucked by your fuel pump and pushed through the lines, before being injected into your engine. Just a theory.
    Turbo lag is like foreplay. You know it's coming. And it's gonna be good.

    How about STP Complete fuel system cleaner, does this clean fuel tank aswell?

    Change plugs, plugs coil, clean throttle body and put new air filter and enjoy the ride. If problem exist in CNG then check you advancer is working properly. Keep smiling

    it can be faulty fuel pump as well, fuel pump is cooled by petrol in fuel tank when petrol level drops low probably the fuel pumps overheats or the fuel vaporises in the fuel lines and blocks them, simple solution is to keep more than half tank petrol and drive around and see if it works fine, why do you let the fuel level drop anyway just keep the tank above half and your car will thank you
